the ui is a bit of a nightmare, and the hub isn't designed very intuitively. But once you're out actually hunting monsters, theres no better game for having an epic fight with a big monster that can last for a full half hour.

Its a really good, well written game. It's full of likable characters and good art.

But enough about the stuff that doesn't matter, the gameplay is great. Fast paced, reaction oriented, satisfying combat. Multiple ways to build your own character, that you can change whenever you want. if you like twin-stick games, you will like Cross-Code.
