This might actually be the worst game I've ever played

* Edit post 4.1 patch *
Tried to play it again to see if it had all gotten better, it's infinitely worse. Worse frame rate, worse input lag, awful experience overall. Spent majority of my recent 'playtime' just trying to get the game to hit over 25 fps.

So this game hit a bit of an uncanny spot for me lol. In 2008 is when I was a senior in high school and graduated in 2009, and my god does it bring back some awful, good, weird, ridiculously high school memories from that time frame. Felt just how I did when I was 17-18 back then! I remember when FB looked like that and just the dialogue, feelings associated, the conversations felt so on point for that time in my own life. Really a great job, I am in awe of how it all played out, definitely will need to play more for different endings but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥...felt like I was back in high school for a bit there!

Early Access Review
I really want to like this game. I played Call of Duty 2 for so long, and still in fact play it from time to time but was waiting for another WW2 shooter that was more reminiscent of that game. This game has some good, some bad, but I just can't really justify playing it. I get that it's still in Early Access and maybe things will change, but right now I get connected to the same server (after this major update), when changing maps my game crashes and I'll have to restart and load back in to the server, the hit detection seems a little off at times, can be aimed dead on someone and the bullet just seemingly disappears. There is no real balance, teams are often stacked and given the smallish player base currently, I understand that. Also there is no iron sights bolt action rifle for the US, which is kind of annoying.

It's not all bad, though. The game looks good, the game functions fairly well for where it is, the sensitivity settings are pretty spot on when it comes to upping them or lowering them. They're still working on it from what I can tell, and that's important. I am excited to see where it goes, but I don't know if I can reccommend buying this at it's current state. I feel like when it's fully released that will be the time to get it as by that time having it now, I'm not sure how much I'll keep playing it. Game has a lot of potential, I'm hopeful that they will be able to make something good happen with it.

As a fan of Fallout since Black Isle Studios was creating them, Fallout 4 was a great game in this series for a number of reasons. The movement felt more fluid than previous games, the storyline felt fresh, the character customization was very intuitive, the graphics were a huge step from NV, being able to build on your settlements was really cool, creating weapons and armor was redone in a way that made it really fun to add mods and different things to your gear, overall just a really good experience.
