Content wise this DLC is absolutely worth it, the new weapon upgrades, move sets, monsters, and armors are well done. The augments have been changed for the better and the endgame is achievable while still providing lots to do to get the perfect build. The new map is also huge and provides a wide range of areas to fight in.

There are some negatives, first and most glaringly, the optimization isn't good. Most of the time my cpu is maxed out and some areas and effects can drop frames quite a bit. Overall, if you could run the base game fine, iceborne shouldn't be any worse, but your milage may very. My other minor issue if with the new clutch claw/tenderization system. The clutch claw is used to weaken monster parts, but is can feel like a chore to do with some weapons and overall the implementation feels clunky.

This is a positive review though and if you enjoyed MHW, Iceborne is a welcome addition and well worth the price in content.

If you've been a fan of the series this game still keeps the feel of the old games with some nice quality of life improvements. If you are a newcomer this game provides an easy entry into the Monster Hunter series. Overall fun gameplay, each weapon class is unique and feels different. Every monster, with a few exceptions, are interesting to fight and feel fair. The lack of loading screens between areas and environment interactions really bring the whole world idea to life.

This game is a grind, but it presents it in a fun way where you are engaged in the fight assuming you don't massively outclass the monster. The fact that there are very few delivery/egg quests and none are story necessary is great. This game has had many free content updates and collaboration events with tons of new endgame items added, and with Iceborne coming to add a new tier to the game and mechanics I'm excited, though this will be a paid expansion.

The major negatives I have are with some connectivity issues, majority of the problems and bug the game released with are fixed, but every once in a while I still disconnect in quests. Multiplayer is still fun, but because of how scaling monsters works currently, if you disconnect, you are left to hunt a multiplayer monster as a solo. Other slight annoyance is that you must watch story quest cutscenes alone, so if you are going through the story with a friend, both must enter a quest solo, then one leaves their and joins the other after watching the cutscene.

I still recommend the game for any returning fans or people who are interested in entering the series. Plus, since this is on PC, you can get mods.

Tedious, tiring, and a lot of fun. The game has repeating events, but never truly feels repetitive. It is always a challenge, but well worth it for the feeling of beating the game. Also the game has an amazing soundtrack.

Fun, WWII simulator for planes and soon to be tanks and ships. Lots of fun, from arcade fights to more realistic ones.
