Amazing core gameplay absolutely ruined by horrid mismanagement. Don't buy if you care about being able to experience old story (most of it's been deleted, but new content still assumes you know what happened). Buy it if you enjoy spending money on season pass content that'll be deleted less than a year after release, I guess.

18 years on, Deus Ex remains one of the greatest games around. A pioneer of the "immersive sim" genre, Deus Ex gives you tools and an objective, then sends you off to complete it by any means necessary. The controls have not aged well and the graphics are certainly dated (though there's mods for that) but the gameplay, story, and player freedom are unmatched. Deus Ex is definitely worth your money. Also, it goes down to like $1 on sale so you have no excuse.

Buggy, boring, and the same thing every level. Fun at first, but gets boring fast. Not worth the $1.
