For someone who tried developing games using Construct2, I would like to say this game is absolutely amazing! Great controls, great graphics and effects, and fun for solo or local play, either way. It would be great if you could save the upgrades, but then again, it would not make any sense since you could easily get coins for upgrading your tanks.

Hoping this game gets more updates in the future, like missions, challenges, more levels, etc..

I got this included in a bundle I bought at HB so technically, this is not free. Overall, the game is too repetitive (not just the story of the game, but the game itself, even the sound effects and controls.) That's it! No time to explain!

My non-gamer wife's review of the game: "Too many dialogues. Where's the action?"

I can't say I can't recommend this game because I haven't played the full game yet. The art is cute though.

Fun game for a free game. There's a stage where it freezes though.

It's so good, my non-gamer wife loved playing it with me. In the end, I bought the Broforce game for the full experience. Also, worth mentioning, this game is intended to be played with somebody else. When I played it the first time, I played it by myself and got really tired of it initially.

I nominated this game for the "Just 5 More Minutes" award, just because. I've played this game for countless of hours, just creating my character. I finished the game only once, just because I always go for the side quests first, and take countless of screenshots. This is like the best game in my library. I would play this again.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is a story about love, family, and courage. It is a visual masterpiece. This, for me, is the best example of a visual novel. Playing the game was like reading a book without words. Have you ever felt like you were in the book you are reading-- that you were in the story itself-- playing this game is like that.

---

The visual art is like a painting. You do not need mods to beautify the environment or your screenshots, it is a masterpiece in itself. The story and lore is loveable. The puzzles are well thought of.

Controls are a bit hard or challenging, especially if you're using the keyboard as in my case-- it sometimes gets frustrating because you are controlling two characters at once. It's also hard to take screenshots especially in interactions because I think Steam prevents the user from pressing to many buttons at once.

Although the game is short, linear, and that there is little replayability (except maybe twice or thrice or until you complete the achievements), I personally recommend that you get and play this game yourself.

I never really expected that I would enjoy and be addicted to this game but I did and I still am. I'm still in Chapter 2 though, but I'm sure I would keep going.

Why did I buy The Witcher in the first place?

When I saw The Witcher 3 in the E3 2014 Gameplay Trailers/Videos, I was intrigued by the game. Even in Skyrim, there were mods for armors and characters of The Witcher and the mods looked great in Skyrim. That's when I decided to buy Witcher 1 and 2, during the Summer Sale.

I did not like the game at first, due to its low-quality graphics, odd controls and little/same NPC dialogues and looks. But it would be unfair to rate a game that's old in an age that's new. Games in 2007 include Mass Effect (which I have only tried playing currently, as well), Tomb Raider Anniversary, and ESIV Expansion: Shivering Isles (did not play this, but I checked out some screenshots to make this review) whereas the gameplay and graphics were not really smooth and impressive.

To be fair, if I were to go back in 2007 and rate this game, I would rate it 5/5 (10 is too broad for a range, so I used 5 for total). Great story, so far; great game mechanics-- choices and consequences that eventually affect the game in future chapters; odd but UNIQUE (to me) combat gameplay; a huge plus, in the alchemy mechanics; also, the only game I've played that gets you drunk and kicked out by a granny! A CLASSIC MUST-HAVE!

Sure, there were also bugs and glitches, here and there, or sometimes, frustrating and annoying NPC dialogues, but I guess it's part of the 2007 game experience.
