Game is good, but it has its own upsides and downsides. (Will update this review as soon as I think of other upsides and downsides)

Upsides:
* You play as a vampire
* Your choices matter
* Nice to play on a controller

Downsides:
* HARD MODE IS TOO HARD. If you want to enjoy the story and the game, just play it on normal mode. If you are a returning player and want a challenge, HARD MODE is for you. You can't turn back on this choice unlike other games.
* LOADING TAKES TOO LONG, especially when you die. And you die a lot on HARD MODE.

I first played the game Arkham Origins because I thought it would be nicer to play the game in sequence and also I feared that the older game would disappoint me. I was wrong. Arkham Asylum is a great game on its own and much to my liking, it carries over a lot of mechanics to Arkham Origins (hopefully to Arkham City too). The only thing I don't like in this game is the comicbook-feel of the UI.

After 3 playthroughs, 2 of which I wasn't able to finish, I finally finished the game today. Great story. I truly enjoyed the game and for an old game in 2022, this still looked good.

I have just finished playing the base game (along with the zodiac tourney dlc). I definitely recommend playing the game as it has good storyline. Because it's an old game though, it may make you feel nauseous due to some camera movements.

The only thing I didn't like about the game is that not all upgrades carry over the 2 other dlcs.

I definitely enjoyed the game. Initially started playing the game using mouse+keyboard but I'd definitely recommend using a controller as controls are more intuitive (although aiming bow & arrows can be difficult). The game is not too long and not too hard (especially if you managed to master all your abilities and upgrades before going into the end game).

The Lord of the Hunt DLC is an exciting new adventure for Talion and Torvin. If you've mastered all abilities in the base game (like I did) before playing this DLC, you'd have an easy time beating the DLC, although the warchief challenges are actually really challenging. I finished the DLC in less than 24 hours, too bad the 2 extra skills you get after beating the game doesn't really make sense (except if you're just planning on playing the game after beating the game).

The Bright Lord DLC is definitely harder than the base game and the Lord of the Hunt DLC. While some abilities have been removed (or having no access to) and the runes are less than what you had in the base game, the Bright Lord DLC also gave you new abilities you wished you had in the base game.

This game has been in my wishlist ever since this came out, but I never bought it. It was only until last week, when I had encountered a similar (knock off) game from Google Play, which I had to pay to remove the ads for and still was not satisfied with the overall experience that I had realized that, here's Unpacking on Steam, cheaper and better a hundred times than the knock off. So I bought Unpacking (finally) full price (I didn't wait for any sale to get it).

Unpacking is a simple, zen-like, organizing game. The graphics are beautiful. I've always adored pixel and isometric art so this one, like I said, had caught my eye from the start. The music and SFX are also good and fits in the game overall. There are also some interactions with some elements in the game, other than organizing stuff. Even though this is such a short game, there is also a heartwarming story.

Anyway, learn from me, don't buy knock offs. Just buy the original games. Devs worked hard for these types of innovations in the game industry so it would really pay off to buy from them.

This is NOT an easy game: not easy for the mind, nor for the heart. But it is a BEAUTIFUL GAME.

Haven't gone through the game much yet, but here are my first impressions:
* Overall art is good, background animations okay, story-wise (so far) also okay. I guess the choices sometimes just don't make a lot of sense.
* For a VN, there are a lot of scenes that do not show the characters. I would think it would have been better otherwise. Seeing how characters would react to certain situations, etc.
* The clickable area of the Next button is a bit off (I am using a Mac btw, maybe it has an effect)
