Sony backed off the forced account linking.


Make it optional with some sort of reward like a cape and those who really want to, will link a PSN account.

The forced sign-in was planned from the get go, but after 3 months of it not being enforced/turned off with a convenient "Skip" button just proves it is extremely unnecessary and in my view becomes an established fact that an account is not required.

Those who don't have a PSN account shouldn't need one full-stop, and that's not even including the fact there are a lot of countries where you can't even make one.

It takes just 2 minutes to make an account!!:
In some countries where you have to send PSN some really sensitive info to just make an account, when I don't trust their data security due to their poor almost bi-annual history of data breaches. Literally storing emails, DOBs and passwords in unencrypted text files, you know first thing you don't do in data security.

I'm sure if you really need to ban people for hacking, surely accounts already have a unique ID in the game servers without even having a PSN account linked, otherwise how are you storing game progress/super credit purchases? Just sounds like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to me from the Community managers.

Only problem I see from Arrowheads position are those community managers. Seriously they need to get a grip and stop being antagonistic or go. Being antagonistic and pouring gasoline on the fire, running then hiding when ♥♥♥♥ has hit the fan is literally the OPPOSITE of your job!


Steam really needs to add a mixed review option.

Game is great. Hellpod in, kill bugs/bots, do objective, extract, repeat!

Good game abandoned by the devs. Rampant cheating & botting. Expect the same treatment from their current (Counter Strike, Dota 2) and future (Deadlock) multiplayer games. Don't waste your money on anything live service from Valve, cause they wont maintain it.
