fun horror shooter

starting in Mission 3 the game is BS. I wanted a horror game not memorizing npc movements with checkpoint save system.

Used to really like this game but Valve has completely destroyed it with their recent string of updates. Firstly, there is no longer any sense of community. Removing quickplay and forcing matchmaking means you have to play with completely different people every 10 minutes or so. No more friend making basically. Secondly, Hackers and team stacking are extremely prevalent. It used to be manageable by using votekick and votescramble, but Valve decided to remove those mechanisms. You're now entirely at the mercy of their matchmaking 'algorithm', which in its wisdom will have no problem in placing you into 300 ping servers. At least it speeds up the time it takes you to find a game, right? WRONG, expect 5 to 10 minutes of waiting before each game you try to play. Please take note future game developers, this is not the way to treat a loyal playerbase when they've supported you for nine years.
