Well thought out and well written
The design is very very simple but that is not important at all because the story gives you all the visuals you need.
Take in mind that the author is very young and yet her work is incredible and way above her age.
Give this game a chance if you love reading and if you like a good story!

8 years after I first played this game I can easily say I've replayed it many times. For the sole reason that I played it in my teens and over the years I read books and watched a lot of movies and shows (including Twin Peaks) and I started appreciating it more. It age fantastically well. They recently released a remaster which is very beautifully done and has some easter eggs for the future title. The way Remedy have expanded its universe around Alan Wake is incredible. Dive into this and pay attention to the story and references! A great game which I've been recommending for years.
