An independent developer willing to spend over $4,000 PER talking head animation? That's nine months and a team of claymation artists, sculpters and cgi artists.

Creativity is the one thing the indie scene has been lacking these past many years. You know a game is confident when it costs $30 and has a demo on launch. Not seeing a lot of roguelike deckbuilders with that sort of pride.

Voice acting is phenomenal, the jazzy, calm bass is so relaxing. If I had the extra money to buy the soundtrack I would, something I never consider.
The level of detail in the world is perfect. Gameplay is entirely unique. The game has a broad range of comfort settings (max fov and colours help the motion sickness, as well as the ability to slow down game speed in general.)

I'm only an hour and a half in and I don't really know what to expect in all honesty. I just want to help bloat their positive reviews.

Like most vr compatible games, this gets a 0/5 for not working at all.

As someone who generally dislikes cod zombies and roguelikes, these guys definitely nailed it.
-WaW to Black ops 1
-Roguelike elements are mostly just delayed perks, as in you don't get screwed out of major power (or your favourite playstyle.)
-All additions are inoffensive and supplement the CORE gameplay. Feels like the natural progression to simple map designs like WaW/Kino der Toten.
-Good selection of difficulty levels AND you can change difficulty mid-match, perfect for utter trash like me.
-Ammo can be purchased around the map just lke
-Sounds and silhouettes are all back. I keep forgetting I'm not playing Call of Duty!

Only note I have is that Story is ON in settings by default so you have your hand held through the main map story (Disable if you want the classic cod easter egg experience)

I hope this game does well. ActiBlizz needs more REAL competitors. Four maps on launch and no mandatory DLC. Absolutely bewildering. If maps have a fair price point I wouldn't mind buying them.

If you have a group to play with it's probably a blast, but attempting any sort of basic strategy is all but impossible with randoms.

Even if the crossover DLC isn't my style, the amount of free content this game gets is wonderful. Thank you FuturLab!!
