Fun little Arkanoid Game.. Enjoyed it single-player for 1 playthrough.
You might need luck to geth thru some parts but nothing to suck the fun out of the game.
8/10

It's very nice to revisit that old Arcade Classic but..

There's no way I can upvote this game with the fact there's no Controller Support and the Dev promised to add it in an update almost 4 years ago and it's still nowhere to be found.

FLASH NEWS IN
Controller Support was added.. tested it quickly and d-pad seems to be working good.
I'll come back to the review to update after I try it on my TV with my wireless Pad.

Lovin' it !!

I enjoyed my first try as a single-player but then I thought it would maybe be better to experience the game with some friend. I had a Couch Co-op session with a buddy yesterday and it was amazing, we failed a few times but it was hours of crazy fun.

Considering I only have about 4-5 hours in..
The Music is entertaining and varies on each level so far.
The Action is well paced and it's really fun to split up responsibilities thru team-work.
I do think the game is better thru a Co-op experience, kinda sad there's no online experience but a mic would be essential at that point to be on par with local co-op, it does require coordination.
The Game offers a good replay value with the different upgrade combinations you can apply to your ship, different configs bring different play-styles and I love the originality of that mechanic.

It has a Millenium Falcon feel, a Chewy and Han Solo duo working together thru their adventure.

If you enjoy Couch Co-op games, like light techno music and the kind of art-style you see here.. this is a MUST for you !! If you can catch this on sale it's a no-brainer for me.. totally recommended.

A friend bought me this game because he wanted some partner.. I knew what the game was about but I didn't know it was so much fun.

I'm not a racing car fan, and I'm not a big football (soccer) fan, but this combination is just crazy good.

This is my go to game when I got a short time to kill now and I end up playing one more then one more then one more. DLCs are all cosmetic and in no way needed to enjoy the game so get the base game and Have Fun !!

Maybe my expectations for this game were too high but I cannot say I would recommend it.

- The Game is Very Short
- The Mechanics are 'Clunky'
- The Puzzle Elements are more repetitive 'Trial and Error' than Deduction
- A unique playthrough is all you'll ever do
- The 3D Graphics are outdated for a 2015 game
- Bugs Here and There, like some Texts that Dissapear before you have time to read it

+ The World Design is Nice and Original
+ The Story can be seen as a Positive Element

If you like Artsy stuff and see it on a BIG sale .. maybe catch it, otherwise just skip it.

In short.. This is the best Metroid-vania game I've played in Years.

I just can't find anything bad with the game other than I would want more Levels to play once I got all the abilities, it feels like it ends too quickly but it might just be my craving to have more of this great game talking.

- Great Art and Animations
- Great Soundtrack
- Great Story
- Decent Challenge
- Original Control Schemes
- 100% Cute

For me this game is simply a Masterpiece.

I read there's a Definitive Edition coming soon with possibly more levels, I would replay that if so but what I would really love is a follow-up game in the same spirit. Congrats Moon Studios.

First off I got this game without crazy expectations, it looked good and did remind me of games like Baldur's Gate or any other D&D game that came out some years ago. Now I see tons of reviews from people complaining that it isn't what was promised and doesn't meet their expectations, honestly I'm not sure what they were expecting because in my case I liked what I received.

Sword Coast Legends isn't a pure D&D game sticking to the rules of the table game, it's more arcadish and has a character building system that works with skill trees like you would find in Hack and Slash games like Diablo.

The Graphics are not stellar but do look good and offer a good camera control all around, zoom in-out and full 3d rotation with free cam that can be set on the character or just wandering around the map. There are a few glitches that I could notice like capes going thru the character models but other than that it's pretty well done and has nice Eye Candy effects for things like Flaming Swords and Spells. The Fighting system is pretty simple, you choose who or what to attack and select skills as you go and the rest of the party does the same on it's own with a decent AI. It's also possible to control every party character actions and pause to select each action but I personally went with the Hack and Slash style of playing.

The Story is great, I'm not that far into the game but I'm intrigued to know more and discover how the whole scenario develops. Side quests are easy to keep track on since they show on the side of the screen and update on the fly with each step you take on them.

As for Audio I like the Music and the Voice-Acting is pretty well done, it doesn't offer that many different voice options for your own characters but it ain't that bad. One thing that can be annoying is your character replying to every move command you give to it, not sure that was necessary.

I think the end result could be better, but as it just came out I have hope that the Devs will keep working on it and make it better with time. They say more classes and races will be brought into the game but what is not said is if those will be directly included in the game or if we'll have to purchase DLCs for them. One thing is certain this game will have some content DLCs coming our way later on, it needs them to stay alive.

I didn't use the Dungeon Master part of the game, I mainly played it as a single-player so far, but I like the idea that I could play it with friends and a DM controlling the action. I'm not gonna say much more about that since I didn't really experience it but one thing is.. I would have liked the game to have some SteamWorks integration so that Adventures created by other users could be shared easily thru it.

The game could be better but it does offer plenty of nice Questing hours for the price tag it's offered under. I would describe it as a "Baldur's Gate" meets "Diablo" kind of game. Hopefully it will only get better in time, but as of now I already consider it's worth the price asked for it and is an easy grab if it ever hits a 50%+ sale.

Overall I would give the game a 7/10 for now.

Great Game !!

I loved the Story, intriguing and keeps you going to discover the whole plot. Stunning Visuals, not the best Graphics in 2015 but the Design of the whole futuristic City is marvelous, the Digital Universe that you go thru at some points is also very well done. The Fighting is fun, can be repetitive but you can build your own combo sequences to fit your needs and the mix of enemies requires for you to handle them in a certain way, you can't just jump in and rage. There is some very original sequences where you need to remix the memories of NPCs, this brings something completely new to the game genre. Add to the mix some puzzle elements and some Parcours and you get a good 20 hours of enjoyable gameplay.

On the downside the game is very linear, one playthrough is enough unless you're a secret hunter who wants to get all the hidden items or complete all the Achievements.

I would give Remember Me an 8.5/10. Easy grab for a 5-10$ sale.

I gotta say I was really curious about this game and I wasn't left on my appetite.

This game makes me think of an old C-64 game called JumpMan but on Acid.

Really Original Game with Nice Pixel Graphics in Vivid Colors (probably too bright for some), Good Multiplayer Action and some Great 8bit Music to go with it. Add to that a Level Editor which I didn't touch but sounds like a great addon for anyone wanting to push the Gaming experience some more (maybe play mind tricks with your friends too).

The Downside for me was some missing information about Gameplay but already in the last week the Dev added a Tutorial Level which explains some basics, I wish he adds some more info to it like explaining the different super-powers you can pick from but nonetheless it's already a good step forward.

Last Words, unless you're Epileptic or simply don't like Simple Pixel-Graphics games.. jump on this, especially if you see it on sale. It's a great cheap investment for Couch Co-op Fun !!

Wood Chopping at it's best.. Simple and Fun !!

This game sure is really simple but it's also really addictive, for less than 1$ you get a game that is sure to keep you busy for a few hours while you try to beat your own best score. And getting all the achievements can be a great challenge if that's something you wanna try.

I have yet to explore the multiplayer part of the game but I'm sure it can be good fun for a couch multiplayer party.

If you have a dollar to spare go for it !!
