If you like games like stardew/runefactory/portia or sandrock you will enjoy this, it can start off abit overwhelming by giving you the entire farm field at the start and just going "good luck cleaning it" but its a nice game and like Wylde Flowers you can alter the time scale so days dont feel too fast/slow.

Finished it withing 6-7 hours, was more of a challenge than I expected and the final boss was even harder, everything is what you'd expect from a INTI creates game, sometimes the jump is kind of unresponsive but the animation,artwork and sound design are great, the story..well there is not much of one really but its a metroidvania. You will most probably get the most enjoyment out of it as a love live fan and have seen both sunshine and Yohane due to references but i still highly recommend.

Game is fine, first is better and i don't normally do this, but what are you thinking adding micro-transactions over a year after launch, games like shadow of war removed them because players found it too much. I put up with a lot of stupid choices by developers and publishers but this is something we do not need starting a trend, adding micro-transactions to a game that is over 1 year old that never had them, any player base this game had after 1 year will not last now you are trying to milk their loyalty.

I would recommend the game but i would not recommend letting this style of greed gain popularity or every AAA dev will start doing it.

Great game, great port, play it if you have not.

Performance is horrible, not sure what is causing it but looking at it too long made me feel ill, i am sure the game is great, i never got to play it back on ps1 because I was not back into jrpgs then, I would give this a refund if I did not buy it cheaper elsewhere, but i guess thats the risk you take. If square ever decides to fix this i will give it another go, but for now im going to forget about it.

It is a change from the usual beat em up yakuza games you are used to apart from dead souls on the ps3, but unless you really hate JRPG turn based combat, i would recommend giving the game a chance if your a yakuza fan, and if you disliked the combat of the orignal but like jrpgs, this is also a good starting point despite being the 7th in the series.

If you enjoyed citizens of earth you will enjoy this, it uses a paper mario styled combat system instead of earthbound, but all the other mechanics are similar to CoE, honestly the game has a few bugs that need to be ironed out, using the overlay at all causes the game to crash and the game will randomly freeze for up to 10 seconds, if you can deal with this then its worth it, if not then wait for a fix.

I am sorry but I don't normally review negativly for a bad port but I will give my opinion on ps4 version of the game after this. The port is close to unplayable with it stuttering every 2 seconds and crashes, IFI is aware of the issue and me and multiple other people have reported this as a complaint just over a week ago and still nothing has been done about it, this is what gives this a negative review, purly the port, not the game

Game review- I played the game on PS4 previously and it is a decent game, not something you'd expect from Compile Heart, the story is dark unlike there other games and it seems slightly higher quality, the combat can be abit of a pain to learn, other than that it is a solid game for JRPG fans, I recommend this on ps4, do not buy on PC until it is fixed.

Note- Use borderless gaming for this, the game does not let you alt tab from full screen

Yes yes lets get this out of the way, if you care about 60fps/4k that it can ruin a game for you then this is 30fps locked, but i don't care.

The game itself is made as fanservice to all the final fantasy fans out there in the style of Pokemon, you capture beasts and raise them to fight for you with a few little tweaks to the system, the chapters may seem short at first but the game is around 30-50 hours depending on how fast you get through the game.

If both of these are yes then this game is for you, and no there is no diffrence from the PS4 version apart from all the DLC minus Sora is automaticly included.
