The game is good, I paid for Skyrim in space, I got Skyrim in space. I've gotten over 35 hours of entertainment so far and I'm barely through anything on the main quest and haven't even started anything else. It's worth your time, even in its vanilla state. But make no mistake, the mod community that is spawning from this will give you your money's worth a thousand times over, I will be playing this game for the next 10 years. Give us Creation Kit 2 Bethesda, then you can be done. You did good, go make TES 6 now please, thank you.

Early Access Review
Overall this is the single most fun VR game I've ever played, especially with mods like Outer Rim. It looks decent, runs reasonably well most of the time, and works very well.

By far this game's biggest issue at present is the AI, which is among the worst I have ever seen in any game ever, and if it weren't in Early Access, that by itself would probably kill the game, and i really hope they become the focus of future updates soon. Not only will they often be completely thwarted by something as simple as a sharp corner or a flight of stairs, but this issue is particularly noticeable in the otherwise amazing randomly generated dungeons. The spaces in the dungeons are mostly relatively confined spaces, and the AI simply cannot handle that. More than half the time, they will end up backing themselves into a corner, at which point, any attack they try to execute will result in their weapon hitting the wall behind them, cancelling the attack, staggering them, and this renders them completely defenseless. Their animations are also not very good, their movements are so jerky and unnatural that i personally find it nearly impossible to predict what they're going to do.

TL;DR: Ai needs SERIOUS work, but otherwise this game is an absolute gem that is worth trying just for the Outer RIm mod.

The sequels are good in this game, because they don't have to be compelling, original, or well thought out, they just need to be funny.

And this game is very funny. 10/10

Like many people who play this game on PC, I play it exclusively in VR. It truly is one of the most fantastic VR experiences you can have. And as you can see by my playtime on Elite (not sure why Odyssey registers 0 hours, but you can see on my profile, I have over 900 hours in Elite), I am no stranger to this game.

For a long time I have been frustrated by Frontier's decisions, many of which have a history of being completely incompetent. When they first said that Odyssey wouldn't support VR at launch, I decided I wasn't going to get it. That is until they changed their mind and said it would be.

And now that Odyssey has launched, and Frontier has already taken my money, they have once again decided to cut VR support. It's really heartbreaking. I love this game and Odyssey, for all it's flaws, is a step in the right direction, especially for the UI, which was always the most frustrating aspect of the game.

But now, with this announcement, I can't help but feel I was baited into buying their unfinished expansion with the promise that VR would be supported, only for them to throw that promise out the window now that I've already paid and the refund window is long gone.

I've put up with a lot of Frontier's **** because the foundation they have is truly one of a kind, but this was the final straw. And I'll be honest, I'm mostly writing this because I'm hoping the backlash will force them to change their mind, but until that happens, I'm out.

This is one of those games where you accidentally binge it for 16 hours because you can't tear yourself away without knowing how it ends.

Alrighty, I've been waiting all month for this. So, The Room: Old Sins. I played it on launch day on iOS and ever since then I have been eagerly waiting for the PC port. Now the general consensus seems to be that this game isn't as good as The Room Three. I disagree. It IS considerably shorter than The Room Three. However, without going into any details, the way in which you progress through this game is so unique compared to the other games in the series in such an awesome way, that I think it more than makes up for the shorter length, short and sweet and all that.

I managed to beat it in 88 minutes, however keep in mind I have replayed it so many times that I know every part of it by heart and could probably finish the game blindfolded.

Whether this game is better or worse than The Room Three is up for debate. What is not up for debate though, is that this game is absolutely, 100% worth $9. The visuals are gorgeous, the puzzles are great, and it runs extremely well. If you have even the slightest interest in puzzle games, stop reading this and buy the game, you won't be disappointed, especially if you've never played a Room game, they really are the best puzzle games out there in my opinion. Not too many game franchises out there that can claim to have the "overwhelmingly positive" rating on every single title released, all 4 of the Room games released on Steam before this have achieved that. And I have little doubt this will too.

Hats off to Fireproof, they have never disappointed me, and they absolutely deserve your support and their game absolutely deserves a playthrough.

10/10, will play again, many more times.

Update: Told you it'd get "Overwhelmingly Positive".

Nobody does puzzle games quite like Fireproof, that's all I've got.

Early Access Review
Given that this game is in early alpha, I thought I’d play it for 10 minutes then come back to it once it had been updated more, but I ended up playing for over two hours. So yes, buy it. If you ever played the old Mechwarrior games you'll love it.

Brain dead Ai, which means they're being forced to work, not okay! But no this game looks like it was made in 2011. The comparison from the trailers to this puts Ubisoft to shame.

I don't often leave reviews, but Fireproof Games always earns my respect, I played through all of this game at least 30 times on mobile and yet the pc port felt like an entirely new game with the massive graphical upgrade, I have a problem, send help... Actually don't, I need to play through it again first. 10/10 buy the game already.
