I owned this game on PS3, PS4, and PC. Ive played this game since the first day it came out. One thing Ive always liked was the ability to Mod my PC singleplayer files. I could make awesome cars, and do crazy interactive things. I believe that Modding is a gamers right. However , StageTWO decided they want to ♥♥♥♥ over the only guys who have helped make modding big. All so they could squeeze some more cash out of this game. Really?
Maybe if you made Content as good as the modders, and made the Online more enjoyable- and more fair. People would actually get on it to buy your stupid shark cards.
Honestly, Great Game. However, at this rate- Dont get into it. It was only good for Modding, and now you cant even do that.
Sellouts.

Early Access Review
Ive played Rust alot, and I still play it alot. The game is in Alpha, and has been for quite some time- and the developmental changes Ive seen are astounding to say the least. However- I do have to say that a few changes to the game have uspet me. Ive only chosen to give this game a review now because my opinion on the game has changed drasticaly. I think that the game mechanics- playstyle- and effects are great, however one part of the game has ruined it for me.
I find that character customization and looks are an amazing thing, and that they should be cherished and built upon to make an actually good survival open world game. However, forcing someone to look the way they do based on their steam ID is sort of stupid. I can understand the concept of dealing with a permanent face and look, and making it so that players are careful with their decisions based on this.
When asked WHY he made character gender, and skin color a Steam ID based thing for your character, Garry replied with "Well, we want it so that you cant kill someone or commit a crime- then come back with a new look and befriend that same person".
Theres alot of flaws in that logic-
1. Your STEAM name has to change for a player to not recognize you, and this can be done easily. However, a player might recognize your voice or other things.
2. Why not just make it so that character customization is a thing, and that its permenant?
Like honestly, Its not that im sexist, and im definitley not racist- its that I do not physically identify with the character im playing. Im a very vain person In these games, and I want to look cool and use all the cool items offered to me by this game. I cant really appreciate it when the person im decking out isnt who I feel like I should be. I dont care about the race even, I just do not enjoy opening my character screen and being a girl.
ALSO lets just address the fact that female characters In this game are being hunted and picked on by other players. Its complete bull- and if this issue isnt changed Im just going to quit playing the game. I know that this probably doesnt matter to Garry if I quit, but I hope that it does something?
