As of writing this I have 100% completion - easily attainable in 2-3 days worth of play if you're GOING HARD.
The game is exactly what it says on the tin: a REALLY pretty remake of what was my favourite platformer growing up.

- It's HELLA PRETTY
- The soundtracks slap
- Platforming is still enjoyable enough for casual experience
- A few added animations / easter eggs referencing the show and more importantly the memes
- I did not experience a single technical issue throughout my 12 hours playtime
- Nonstop nostalgia high

- Movement in the remaster is noticeably stiffer than the original. Not enough to make or break the game - but the og version has it beat.
- The Mr. Krabs spatulas you collect by paying him money are FAR more expensive than the original. With increments of +3,000 shiny objects per spatula. I had nowhere near enough shinies to trade in even after beating the game - meaning I had to resort to 30mins of a very cheesy "blow up tikis and suicide reset" tactic to reach the needed amount.
- IGN and Gamespot can gobble my nuts. Don't listen to them

These golden weapons are hurting my wallet.
It's a good game.

Sure there is sharks..
Sure there is urchins that can poison you..
Sure dehydration and starvation is a constant issue..
But the real killer is trying to climb down a palm tree without shattering your arm.
It's good.

I was gifted this game as a bit of a joke. I hang my head in shame with every hour I slowly stack into this "game".
However riding a rowboat in a hurricane is the hypest sh*t.
