I didn't enjoy this game as much as the sequel; while the environment is engaging for the first little bit of gameplay, it gets old very quickly. I do really love the ideas and the intention of the game, but it ends up very tedious very quickly. I feel like the theme and setting could be even better utilized, but I can't say exactly how. Though I did enjoy my time with the game, it did get tedious towards the end.

I really enjoyed my time with this game, the atmosphere was on point. I did find myself reflexively using the wrong controls, which just led to me redoing things, but that was it. Some of the collectibles can be insanely hard to spot, but that was half the fun. I'd definitely suggest this to anyone who enjoys a relaxed atmosphere and not pressure gaming :)

I really am enjoying this sim, but now suddenly all of my issues with American Truck Simulator make so much more sense, even in just my first few minutes playing, I realized that SCS reused a lot of assets in ATS, So while the environments feel way more tangible here, I can't help but get flash backs to ATS's insanely tiny entrances and properties that didn't factor for the massive differences in wheelbase and trailer length. Here those spaces feel natural, as well as the turning feeling linear and correct for the conditions. I still wish there was better optimization on the high end, I don't like how much both games suffer from texture pop in at the fringes of the viewing distance, though there may be ways to fix that.

I really love the entire experience of this game, from the general atmosphere to the visual design, the world is immersive and large. I don't have really any complaints beyond the wonky driving physics, and Alan being a functional asthmatic, would definitely suggest this to anyone.

A wonderful short little excursion through a snowy forest, helping plants grow, tending to trees, a relaxing short little adventure, will probably revisit just for the ambiance alone.

This games premise is pretty simple, a power fantasy from the point of view of a shark. For the majority of the game I really enjoyed the collecting and gameplay loop, the only places that it hung up with me was the Truth Quest missions where you had to strike the antenna with objects or people, which I ended up cheesing with the shadow tail whip or atomic tail whip. The core game was what I expected for the price, and I thoroughly enjoyed a lot of the grinding for materials. The DLC felt a little lackluster in many regards, a lot of the best upgrades were cool, but came into the game so late that they weren't very useful, there's also so much more the developers could have done with it.

Bottom line, if you're like me, and want a reasonably short time-sink, this is a really fun game with a pretty fun loop, but you could pass on the DLC if you really don't feel like it, the dlc area is fairly small anyways.

I really enjoyed this game, short and sweet, and an interesting atmosphere and location. The setting and art design really hold this whole thing together, the dreary desolation of a desert island, the esoteric beings that seem to warp the physics of the space, just a neat concept overall. The only downside I feel is on the story and voice acting side, some of the characters have very, very cardboard performances, and I'm pretty sure the same guy voiced all the creatures on here. Some of the puzzles could have had slightly better feedback, such as with the artifact, but other than that, I really didn't mind.

I've been playing L4D2 for a very long time, it's one of those games that I honestly have never fully gotten bored of, it's great to play casually, and the multiplayer modes can be hilarious if you don't get easily tilted. I like the over all theme of horror movie like scene transitions, and it's overall cinematic aesthetic. For the most part unless I'm on custom maps, I've never experienced any kinds of glitches, other then spawning as special infected in multiplayer in some instances. Also the game has a lot of great workshop items and mods out there, there's a lot of player made levels as well that are fantastic, so just a plus to an already fantastic game.

TL;DR Great gameplay loop, fun atmosphere, great workshop content and options out there. Definitely still worth a play! :D

Early Access Review
I've been around Studio FOW's work before so I know what I was getting into. That being said I've actually really enjoyed the design of a lot of characters in game. As far as the gameplay goes the space/flight related shoot em up gameplay is actually really fun, but I wish there was more, or hopefully in the final version a way to repeat missions or even increase the difficult, which I sense may already be in mind, based on what I see in the menus for locations, so likely ignore my statements here. The turn based combat is very hit or miss, I find myself kind of channeled into having to use Lily often for her ranged abilities, and felt kind of trapped in what strategy to use, which was more or less to juke, and avoid attacks and fire from range, there's also a few locations that are waaay more difficult then their surrounding systems, so I'm not sure what should be done there. I really, really am enjoying the writing on display here, I haven't chuckled or laughed this much play a game in quite a few years, have much respect for the scope and originality of the work, but I'm also cracking up from the references.

TL;DR Story good, sex scene okay, space combat good, RTS combat is eh.

I'm really interested to see how the story will unfold, and I hope that the little issues with the RTS gameplay become either a little more balanced or varied with the final version.

I wish I could say I enjoy this game, but to be honest after 5 years of actual commercial operations, the limitations of the games format really show in the interface, some models, especially Paccar products have steering that doesn't fit their wheelbase or their very stiff 2-piece pitman arms that I used seeing on the real T680s and 379s, overall the handling of physics of the trucks just feels off sometimes, throttle is too responsive in one way, or wrong in another, so the translation from driving a real unit to game feels very off. Another thing is, just interacting overall, when I'm driving I may scan my mirrors as much as 6 times in under 5 seconds so I can refresh my view of approaching traffic, this is hard using a mouse and keyboard and just feels slow, I think if I was using a VR headset it would be much better. And I'm sure if someone saw me in real life playing they'd chuckle because I subconsciously turn my head to look in mirrors that aren't there.

Overall I do like the game, but to a certain degree I can't enjoy in the same way as actually truck driving, I can be incredibly precise and quick in real life, but I feel ungainly and awkward when trying to apply my knowledge to a game with very different feel then the real things.

The graffics are lovely and a lot of interactions are great, I feel this would be a lot better if I had a wheel and shifter for my computer.

It's a great game overall, just a little weird for actual drivers to get into.
