This is now you make a Remaster/Remake.

Risk of Rain, Classic game from 2013, Shoot enemies, Get Gold, Open Chests, Repeat. Simple as it gets.

But Risk of Rain returns Adds so much more onto the original, Even taking some notes from Risk of rain 2; New abilities for each survivor and having the option to swap between them, New items - Both New original items and some bought from RoR2, Skins for survivors.

Multiplayer can now be done through steam, Which is REALLY Nice, no more port-forwarding and messing with third party programs and all sorts, just two clicks and bam, Multiplayer ready, grab your friends and get surviving.

And even the new providence trials, is a nice way to Showcase new survivor abilities before you unlock them, As well as being an additional challenge; That said, some of them are a pain (i.e. HAN-D's Challenges.) Even then, its still a really nice Addition and i'm looking forward to see if there'll be more in the future (Hopefully? maybe a DLC or even modded challenges.)

Currently no modding support as of writing this, but hopefully it'll be added in at some point. Overall, A really strong Remaster/Remake. Improve on everything, fix what didn't work in the original and add new stuff. I just wish some Companies would actually understand that.

If you played the original, This is a must play. And if you're someone who likes going for difficult 100%s, This is one to pick up imo.

I got this Game for free from a game giveaway.

A Good, but Really Short game. Simple as that.

Mostly just platforming & Puzzles, with a little bit of combat here & there, The combat isn't Massively expanded upon, its mostly just "Attack, Roll, attack, Repeat until all enemies dead"

There's 21 different collectibles (20 skulls & 1 Gramophone) in each level, Each Gramophone is off to a small side-path somewhere, the skulls are a mix of Hidden, and in plain sight, the ones in plain sight usually require you to kill some enemies around the area, kill them all, you can then pick up the skull.

The levels aren't very lengthy, on avg it took me 30~ mins each, but i was also looking out for the collectibles most of the time, so they're even shorter if you're just going straight to the boss fight at the end, probably 10-15~ mins each?

The boss fights are pretty simple, Dodge attacks, wait for an opening, Attack, repeat 3 times and its dead, you get a new weapon and move onto the next chapter.

I would Recommend this game if you want a quick game to complete and 100%, However; No offence to the devs But i honestly can't Recommend it when not on sale, £25 is an insanely high price for a game this small & short, Hell, even on sale at £10 is kinda pushing it a little. £6.99 would be a more reasonable price imo. If anything, grab it while its in a bundle or something.

A fun game that mixes Rhythm with First-person Shooter.

As most people say, its DOOM meets Necrodancer. You shoot, Reload, Dodge and use actions to the Beat of the music.
Its easy to understand, and can take some time to master, Worth picking up if you want something to burn some hours into.

The achievements are fairly simple; Reach a new zone, beat the game with X Character, on Easy & Hard, and then 700k+ score, Nothing to Fancy, Each character is alright, most just play the same, only different ones being Odr & Njord, Njord cant use the weapons so they just use some magic blast, and Odr is basically the lost from binding of Isaac; infinite jump/flight, but dies in one hit and cant gain any health.

The Main, and probably the Biggest issue of when writing up this Review, Is the Optimization. I don't wanna be rude about it, but even PAYDAY 2 doesn't nuke my PC This Badly;
For a small game, This has my PC Heating up super badly, even to the point where it Shuts down automatically, Crashing the entire thing. One of those times even Corrupted my savefile completely, i had to grab a save copy from a friend to be able to play the game again; that Corruption make it so the game wouldn't even launch past the logos.
Thankfully there's not a ton of unlocks compared to the likes of Isaac, But if you do plan on playing, Remember to create backup saves.

Terrible "Remaster", didn't change anything, even the graphics are hardly a noticeable change.

Played this game back in the early access/Beta, well damn its just as fun as it was back then, even more fun now-a-days, its a pretty good challenge.

Basically, you and up to 3 other people race around a map, wall jumping, grappling onto ceilings and launching yourselves for more speed and mess with others with items like rockets and crates.

The Maps are pretty well designed, some have a "Theme" to them such as nightclub having LOTS of Grappling hook-able ceilings, King of the swingers style map.

The goal? Knock everyone else off the screen, once one person goes off screen (if its not just 2 players), Red border appears, as the remaining runners keep going, that border gets smaller and smaller, meaning the players are gonna have to get tighter together and pull some fancy stuff to out-speed the others.

The music? i havn't really played much since they added the new music, but from what i've heard so far, its really nice, fitting, up-beat and active, tempo and feel gets a bit more "Chaotic" when the red border comes into play, Gives you the feeling of "Don't slip up now!".

Game worth it? Totally, it was worth it back in the early access beta, and its worth it now, The game's basically more polished since then, and more characters, hell, even a story by the looks of it.

Does what it says on the Tin, the design's pretty simple and easy to use, can set it up so it'll always Make a game borderless, even if it has different window titles, like terraria

Its a fun, simple Game, it's got the feel of a horror game, with the darkness & Silenece, its part platformer-ish, and part puzzlely stuff.

It took me just under 4 hours to 100% it, fully, all Achievements. first Run took probably about 1 hour 40 mins (i didn't really look at the time played after the first run...), the rest was me gettin' everything else done. So really, it'll only take you Atleast 2 runs to 100% this whole game.

i have to say i really did enjoy it, aswell as some of its jokes & 4th wall breakings, its a small game, *maybe* not worth the whole £4 (Or whatever price it is in your area.), you're probably better off getting it during a sale, no offense to the Dev(s), She/He/They did some Great work.

I've put up with lotta ♥♥♥♥♥♥ stuff over the years with PAYDAY 2. Crimefest 2015 was probably the worst of the things.

But then Update 237 rolls around. Broke the game so hard, even after removing Every single modding-related files from the game's folder, it Still kept crashing, Yeah its fixed now, but if thats happening in the first place, you really know you massively ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up.

Ontop of that, You kill off Linux Just so you can add EGS Support, And Force that ♥♥♥♥ into the game, Breaking even More things. It's not something that was needed nor welcomed. Best part? Can't even disable it. Removed the EOS File? guess what you can't play anymore. Game refuses to even launch.

You Break everyone's Side job progress - Which gives access to a few weapons and a rather strong perkdeck, and all that progress of having everything completed. Even mess up matchmaking, making connections worse, and all around a lot less enjoyable.

All for what? To have a sad excuse for a "store" to be able to crossplay with others? Why? Atleast have it be an optional setting at the very least. Not everyone wants to play with EGS players, and vica visa.

Its honestly a shame to have put in 1.6k+ hours of gameplay, countlessly re-100%'ing every update and enjoyment, to be flushed down the crapper Because of one, horribly piss poor change.

I Really do hope this Change gets reverted, or at the very least Modders find a way to disable it.

Crypt of the Nercodancer is a Dungeon Crawler game mixed in with a Rythem Movement system, as in you have to move to the beat of the song.

the game itself is pretty simple and Really easy to understand, The artstyle is really nice and pretty clean looking aswell and the soundtrack is easily one of the best, all 3 of them, original, EDM and Metal. Edit: 2 more were added a while ago! A chiptune soundtrack by the same person who made the shovel knight soundtrack & a Synthwave Soundtrack by Girlfriend records, Never fail to amaze with the different styles of remixes!

There are 10 Characters total, Each every different things, like bolt who moves at double the speed, or Aria who can't get hit or miss a beat (as in dies in 1 hit or missing a single beat.)

There are a bunch of different enemies, which also move to the beat with different patterns which are easy to understand, Each as moving every 2 beats or lunging forward after being hit once or even teleporting the player.

Even if you're someone who isn't great with hearing/listening, there's a guideline sort of thing at the buttom of the screen, which you could use to learn the beat.

Its a great game and i'm amazed the Devs Created this unique game. Easily Recommedable to friends, Especially with the OSTs
