This Game along with Civ IV, has taken hudnreds of my gaming hours. If you like strategy games, and dont mind long games, try this game out. Now be warned, if you plan on buying Civ V, BUY THE TWO EXPANSIONS! They add MUCH needed mechanics that the devs forgot to put in Civ V (unfortunately). But once you add the xpacks, this game will take many hours form you too! The game revolves around taking a control of a civilization (from nations like Ashurbanipal of Assyria all the way to Napoleon of France) and, beginning at 4000 BC, you lead it all the way to the future age. You build, expand, and develop cities, and create alternate histories where the Americans built the pyramids. I recommend this game to anyone willing to spend countless hours, but it is defiitely worth it!

Early Access Review
This is quite possibly one of my favorite games, along with Civ V/IV. It is a great game, that gives you hundreads of possibilities. The game revolves around commanding a space program on Kerbin (Earth), and you have to design and launch multi-staged rockets to both different planets and different moons, or just create a ISS-like station orbiting around Kerbin. There is no greater sense of accomplishment in a game like when you first get a lander on the Mun (Moon), take a nice Mun walk with your kerbals, and safely get it back to Kerbin. Or when you first get a curiosity-like science rover landed on Duna (Mars). Once you get the hang of the mechanics, this will probably become your go-to game for quite a while. And once you get bored of the 'vanilla' game, there are PLENTY of mods to keep you interested, from ones that make it more complex, like life support systems and re-entry mechanics (which will make their way into the game, but its still in beta), or more fun, like mods that add base constructing parts, or ridiculously over-powered mega engines. I recommend this game, and it is WELL worth your money!
