Decent game

Uplay and Ubisoft ruin this game with their garbage servers and broken ass launcher.

The game itself is fantastic, one of the best RTS economy games I've played in my life. I won't post a review of the game because good luck getting past the insane DRM. You need a steam account, a UPlay account, the CD key, endless updates and installing screens, and I hope you have a very good and constant internet connection. Also you are limited to the number of times you can install this game. Good luck getting your CD key and account to work.

Also If you've played this game before and don't have the CD key memorized from ages ago or the account details you're SOL. Just pirate the game if you can, the DRM does nothing other than inconvenience legitimate players.

Buggy mess with constant crashes and infinite loading screen bugs. Sad, this game feels unfinished and likely has killed Deus Ex as a series due to it being so rushed. Seriously, this game crashes more than original Skyrim with mods and I can't even count how many times i've gotten stuck in the geo. The sync on the mouth movements of characters to their voices is incredibly off which is another symptom of this game being rushed. This game could have been really something if they took the time to QA/QC these simple things.

Real shame as this game just feels too rushed with not enough content, pointless optional micro transactions and they want you to use an app on your cellphone to scan their custom QR code (albeit it's optional). The characters, both good and bad, in the main story aren't very memorable, only the side mission characters are interesting.

Unfortunately due to the crashes and voice sync issue which is inexcusable for a AAA game in 2016, I wouldn't recommend buying this game even on sale unless you have a lot of free time and are invested from the previous game's storyline.

EDIT: This game has large loading scenes that wont load no matter what unless you open the .exe while it is running and change the amount of cores it uses to half of your cpu cores (set affinity to like 0 to 7 cores if you have 16 cores). Garbage.

With no mods this game is trash, nobody wants to play the same 20 terrible edm songs. Every update they make (which is frequent) breaks the mod manager and you gotta wait a while until it gets fixed (hopefully it does). The devs gotta make this a little easier on the mod makers.
