I'll keep it short and simple. I've played Artifact through its 9 days of Beta and let me just that this is a great freaking game with the monetisation model is actually more than fair.
Every single other game forces you to grind for packs to build decks. They have a complete RNG loot box system that you have to throw your money at to be able to be competitive.

This game is a TCG and Valve want your cards to retain value. This means, no free packs are given out (You either earn them with wins through expert or you buy them).
Unless you REALLY like brewing decks 24/7, you don't even need all the cards. Hell, with your £16 purchase, you can play casual phantom draft infinitely and still get a new experience everytime. You can pay with your friends for free and also host tournaments for free.

This has the depth, synergy and polish that I would expect from a Valve game. This paid model is actually a lot fairer than most F2P ccg models. At the time of writing a full collection costs $280 (3 of each card exepct heroes) with the common and uncommon set capping only taking $50 (or so). The most expensive rare is Axe at £15 but a lot of the "fun and unique card are below £3. Unless you want to be a completionist with a full collection in under 2 days of Launch, Then I don't know what to say.

Wait about 1-2 week for the prices to drop and get the cards you want to for your imagined deck or just get the full collection (after millions of cards have been collectively opened).

So would I recommned the game ? Let me just say this, I've never been more mentally drained playing a game of arifact than previous games but it makes me want to play more to find more elegant solutions. If you like strategy games, This game is for you 1000%

I guess it's ok

Gives you a dope mount (Two goblins carrying you like a royalty), You get an exclusive avatar and GOLDEN lines in chat whenever you type (Like adding salt to the wounds after typing Ez Pz)

You also get a 10% permanent XP boost (Which stacks if other players have this pack as well) and it gives your teammates (and enemies) extra XP as well.

Is it worth £22.99? Well, depends on how big of a fan you are (ah puns!)

I would say it's worth it because i am going to be investing hours into the game. If you not too sure, then just buy the Early access copy as that is more efficient for your money!

Been playing the game since alpha and i can't recommend it enough!

Possibly the most skilfull game in the current gaming market and honestly a breath of fresh air well.

While i have not played Bloodline Champions, i do plan on investing heavy hours in this game! With e-sports and it's magnitude in the media, i have no doubt Battlerite will make a name for themselves as well.

The devs communicate, the game feels smooth and it's hella fun to play!

If you like competitive games, there is no game better than this one

i don't have a controller, so when i saw valve was releasing there own, i NEEDED it.

Now i was one of the guys that got my controller a month early (So on the 4th of October) and honestly, It's been GREAT!

Even though my main games are Dota 2 and CS:GO, I'm now playing more arcdae game because of the controller.

Having played a bit of boid before the early access (Private tester), i can say that this is RTS in it's simplest form without any comprimise.

There are lots of RTS games and they are quite difficult to get into because you have to learn the classes, maps, strats etc etc.

While you get this in BOID (It is an RTS after all), it makes it very simple. The art style is quite simple but looks gorgeous.

Now on to the game itself.

There are two team (Red and Green) and there are currently 8 different classes and they all look very different (Making them easy to differentiate) and there are many variety of maps.

You both get a side of the map and start with spawners. You then have to take over class spawners (Each map has different kinds of spawners). Then eventually you have to take over the other players spawners. Once you take over their spawners, it's GG.

Another very good thing about the game is that the matches are short and quite intense (Which is very good in my opinion).

I haven't played much because not many people had the game (<20) and i've only found 2 people in online matches.
But this was before the early access.
NOw it's in early access, i will be playing this more often and after the addition of steam workshop, it'll be a very good game!

Costing less than £2 (08/01/2014), i don't see how you can go wrong with this game
