Fun game, but for the 5 hours I played, I have some tidbits of wisdom

-pick a style and stick with it. Enemies will whoop you good if you try to be a jack of all trades. Or just get really good at dodging and parrying.
-Look everywhere! Find little hidden figurines and burn them. Ties in to the first tidbit.
-The ritual game you can use for certain fights should be used sparingly at first, until you get more stamps and dice. Unless you want to have a handicap for the fight.

Good premise, lousy team.

Premise is you are a "chosen one" who tries to save a dying world practically devoid of human life as the "shroud" has killed a majority of the populace due to their reliance on a substance called elixir. You go and try to dwindle down the shroud and by destroying strange, Lovecraftien looking trees called Shroud Roots. On the way, you fight zombies, beasts and crazed survivors, gathering materials to make your weapons, armor, basically everything to advance.

Here's why I can't recommend this game anymore- the developers are too easily swayed by the people. They can't stick to their own guns. Magic was a fun to use, but now because of people who don't like magic in games it has become practically impossible to play magic users. Enemies hit hard, and mages don't have the power to fight them even if you gear them out to glass-cannon builds. Might as well be glass-pea shooters at the most powerful.

I enjoyed this game, but now I just wish that I could get my money back and have learned to not buy early-access games ever again. I told other people to play something else if they didn't like it, well now I don't like this game or it's dev team, and I'm sticking to my guns.

Addicting game play, lots of unlockables, but ran in to a problem where all stats are 0 for some reason.

Pretty fun, but can utterly destroy you if you don't know what you're doing.

It starts simple, then as you get items it begins going up in nuance with all the item combinations and characters you unlock. It's best to approach stages steadily- not too fast or too slow or you start getting swamped and you had better hope you have a good enough of a build to survive the horde, or you are borked.

Awesome game.

Fun to play board games with those who aren't anywhere near you, requires a bit of a beefy computer.

It's a fun game despite all the crap it's gotten. The only gripe I have with it is the annoying twit who won't stfu over radio during missions.

Basically think Astroneer meets Monster Hunter, throw in Dwarfs and you're good.

Pretty fun as far as free games go.

So, I was mistaken- the last review I made was from a bad computer. This game is fun, and I enjoy the music. The controls are a little confusing but other than that, it's good.
