Metro 2033 is a survival-horror first-person shooter video game, based on the novel Metro 2033 by Russian author Dimitry Glukhovsky. Metro 2033 was developed by 4A Games and published by THQ and after "Redux rebuild" by Deep Silver. Original game was released in 2010 and was a huge success, awarded with lots of high rated awards. In august 2014 developer released Redux versions for both Metro 2033 and its sequel Metro 2033: Last Light, featuring the newest version of 4A Engine, with better graphics, new animations, lighting, gun handling, new AI mechanics and much more. Ratings:

Pros:
+ Incredible story, based on best-seller novel Metro 2033
+ Lots of gameplay detail and content
+ Amazing graphics, especially with Redux rebuild
+ Astonishing animations and physx, which makes game even more realistic
+ Two gameplay modes, depending what kind of gameplay you want
+ Stealth option is amazing, especially after rebuild
+ A lot of plot twists, amazing dialogues and sayings
+ Achievement system ( I did all of them, and it actually forces you to finish
game at least two times in order to achieve them all

Cons:
- I have noticed, that after Redux rebuild, kids have wrong voices, like some
old lady would voice act them. ( only in English, Russian works fine )
- At some points, enemy AI attacks you way more then other friendly AI's

I simply had one of the best FPS single-player experiences while playing the game. It might have few flaws, but they are just so minor compared to what package this game brings. If you like that kind of games, you should definitely go for it. Seriously outstanding AAA game. Congrats!

I have nearly 100 hours of Company of Hereos, but there are two versions that come when you buy the game. The first one is Company of Heroes and the other one is Company of Heroes (New Steam version), in case you are wondering why do I review game without playing it. Reason why there are two versions is because first one is original one (Published by THQ), and second one is published by SEGA. THQ declared bankruptcy in December 2012, so the online servers were shut down. Thats when SEGA took them over in 2013. So "New Steam version" is same game, with only difference being SEGA's servers. Therefore Steam wouldn't let me review that one, so I am reviewing legacy THQ version instead.

Company of Heroes is a 2006 real-time strategy video game developed by Relic Entertainment and published by THQ (later SEGA took over their online services). The game is set during the WW2 and contains two playable factions, Americans and German Wehrmacht. In the DLC, Tales of Valor, two new factions are included, British And Panzer Elite.

Pros:
+ Definitely graphics with lots of details
+ Variety of strategy options, which are crucial in combat
+ Realism ( everything from weaponry, tanks, etc. )
+ Amazing single-player compaign
+ Audio ( amazing explosion effects etc. )
+ Three support tree options ( each faction has option to choose
from three different trees to go on with )
+ Almost every unit in game can gain Veterancy level
+ Two modes, Annihilation and Victory Point

Cons:
- Germans are still little too overpowered if you are playing against
experienced player in my opinion
- Lack of multiplayer players after CoH2 launch

Company of Heroes is definitely the best WW2 RTS out there. It got a bit forgotten after Company of Heroes 2 was released, but it was expected to. The thing I like the most, is how you really need to use tactics in this game. If you want to play WW2 strategy game with friends, that is definitely the game to go with. I haven't played Company of Heroes 2, so I don't know if I would like it more than CoH 1, but it holds much bigger community at the moment so I think it might be the game to go with as well. Enjoy playing it.

Released in October 2012, Dishonored is a stealth action-adventure video game developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. Dishonored definitely holds place for one of the best games I have played. Why?

Pros:
+ Amazing artistic capabilities from developer
+ Optimization on its peak
+ Plot in this game is outstanding
+ Unique stealth and assassination mechanics
+ Unique abilities with variety of kill options
+ Voice acting
+ Upgrade and abilities system
+ It took me about 11 hours to finish the game
+ DLC's

Cons:
- Maybe only complain would be that in order to make all achievements, you have to buy all DLC's.

Other then that, this game is very original. I already finished it two times. Second time, I finished it with achievement "Clean Hands", which means, you have to finish the game without killing and alerting anyone. So its definitely stealth game, but at the same time the game has one of the most unique lethal mechanics. And I can assure you, you won't regret buying it. Love it!

Portal 2 is a first-person puzzle-platform video game developed and published by Valve in 2011. It is a sequel to Portal. Some reviewers initially expressed concerns about the difficulty of expanding Portal into a full sequel, but even so, Portal 2 received universal acclaim upon its release, with the game's writing, pacing, and dark humor being highlighted as stand-out elements. The voice work of McLain, Merchant, and Simmons were strongly applauded by critics, and the additional cooperative mode also received praise. Some gaming journalists ranked Portal 2 among the top games of 2011, and several named it their Game of the Year. Portal 2 is definitely on the peak of my "best games ever" list. Here is why:

Pros:
+ Heavily optimized Source engine.
+ Amazing game writers = amazing story
+ Perfection in voice acting and ambient music
+ Simple graphics, but perfect in their way
+ Side-story revealing with easter eggs and comic book
+ Gameplay mechanics
+ Ridiculously unique and fun solving chambers
+ Amazing co-op gameplay
+ Creative Achievements (single player & co-op)
+ Trading Card system
+ User made chambers, Robot Enrichment
+ Hammer Editor ( level editor )
+ Steam Workshop

Cons:

Probably first and only game, I can't find cons for. It's simply perfect. Kudos to Valve, they are the best ;). Absolutely astonishing work. ~10/10

Limbo. Minimal indie puzzle-platform video game, developed by Danish game developer Playdead. Game was released in 2011. Here are my thoughts on game:

Pros:
+ Outstanding unique visual art with black-white filter
+ Amazing sound representation
+ Fun puzzle levels
+ Very original
+ Simplicity and minimalism put in right way
+ Achievement support
+ Takes less then 100MB of disk space
+ Multi-platformer, including Android and iOS

Cons:
- Gameplay is short (2~3 hours)

As you can tell from my ratings, I really enjoyed playing Limbo. It is kind of short, but still worth its money. If you like puzzle games, you should definitely buy it. Great game :)

Portal is Valve's first-person puzzle-platformer, released in 2007. Here are my ratings:

Pros:
+ Valve's Source engine
+ Voice acting and music
+ Unique, original story
+ Amazing characters
+ Gameplay mechanics
+ Inovative design and unique physics
+ Probably best game Achievements with Advanced chambers

Cons:
- Story is quite short. I managed to finish it in about 3 hours.

There is no doubt why Portal made a big influence in gaming world in 2007. Characters, puzzle rooms and game mechanics are very original and award winning. I also really liked Achievement system. I managed to do all 15 of them, and they are really challenging and fun. Perfect game.

The cake is a lie.
