I still bought this DLC, because I know that things have been rough for Frontier lately, and I wanted to support the company.

BUT half the animals in this pack is just stuff that was DLC in the first JWE, with slightly improved textures, one is another old hybrid but that at least got a new model, and only one is a completely new piece of content. Oh and theres' a pair of glowy skins (as in... one and done skins, not patterns that you can apply on whichever color you like) for the two movie hybrids. So... I'm having a hard time recommeding this pack to other people, I'm sorry. Maybe if it was at least an euro or two cheaper, or if there were some more alternate skins for other animals. But as it is, it's a bit underwhelming...

Here's hoping there's at least one or two more DLCs before the game's lifecicle is officially over, I'd hate if this was it for JWE2

A decent sci-fi story, a good "city builder" type of gameplay and a solid soundtrack. I quite like this game. BUT. It is very unforgiving in terms of difficulty... multiple times I was doing quite alright, and then things cascaded into sudden defeat in just a few minutes, and I had to backtrack quite a bit. Also it's still a big buggy and demanding in terms of specs, although the devs have done a decent job optimizing things over time. Finally... I think this game could use something like a Sandbox mode, or something else other than the main campaign to do. But overall I'd still give it a solid 7/10, maybe a bit more.

Okay, this is a bit of an oddball. I liked it quite a bit personally, definately a buy if you like exploring and collecting stuff, and if enjoy Lovecraftian stuff, but can go for something more atmospheric and less "aaaah! In your faaaaace!" scary.

If you don't like fetch quests and minigames tho... this game in the end is a lot of those, so probably not something you'll enjoy.

As for the DLC... it adds a new biome to explore, a few sidequests, a main quest that also basically feels like a sidequest, and a couple extra gaming mechanics that feel more added for flavor than anything. Maybe wait for it to go on sale

A bit clunky and rough around the edges perhaps, but still fun to play and with tons of charm. Easy buy if you are into Tokusatsu stuff, or just like old school beat 'em ups

I maaaaaay be slightly addicted to this game xD It's not the be all end all of park builders, but it's fun to play, the devs are constantly adding contet to it, both paid and as free updates and it grew a lot since release. My only gripe is that it doesn't run as well as I wish it did. I have a pretty good PC, and had no problems running the previous game, yet I get lag on the regular, especially on the bigger maps and/or when I have a big park made. Could be the DRM that comes with it eating my RAM, but I don't want to point fingers unless I know for sure.

I love this game, I've been a fan of it for years. I was waiting for the new content of the season pass to be all released to jump back into it... and then the devs decided to retroactively censor a ton of stuff. This is particularly scummy because it's a decade old title, and a crowdfunded one, too. This game happened because folks wanted the "risquè" parts of it, too. Could have just added a toggable "safe for work mode", like other fanservice-y games have to make them safe to stream or bring at tournaments. People would have actually appreciated that, I'm sure. Instead the devs took the decision for the playerbase, refused to have any discussion on the matter, and have been hiding negative reviews and comments all over the place. In fact, don't be surprised if this review doesn't remain visible for long. If the people in charge come back to their senses, then I'll mend this whole thing. But until, then... stay away, or only buy the game on sale and then look for the unofficial patches that de-censor it, there's a few around already.

This is the perfect game to pick up on sale. It's a small game, that you're gonna finish pretty quickly (10 hours to 100% it for me) but what there is here is very well made, polished and satisfiying to play. If you like chill management games, you're gonna have a good time. I just wish there was more of it.

I've seen a few mixed or outright bad reviews about this game, so let me address first what I think it's the problem there...

1 - If you expected Planet Coaster, but with dinosaurs, then yes, this is not what this is. There's not that level of customization, and it's likely due to development time constraits and because of Universal's restrictions to the designs of the infrastructures... compared to the old Operation Genesis instead, this game has a lot more of things to build, do and unlock tho;

2 - There ARE some "dead times" in which you don't have much to do other than sit down and wait for money to go back up. That usually happen due to poor management on the player tho... when you manage your park right that doesn't happen much, if at all.

So, if those are two major problems for you... look somewhere else. For everyone else, if you wanted a successor to JP: Operation Genesis, or a good Jurassic Park/World in general, or you'd like a park builder game with very beautiful graphics that can be both chill and challenging, this is it. So go for it!

So first of all... if you're looking for an action game, you're in the wrong place. This game has a very slow, one could say solemn, pace, even most of the bossfights are like that. This is a game the oozes atmosphere and is first and foremost about exploring and experiencing the Norse mithology in game form. On that regard, is a great game, and I can't recommend it enough. The battles with the Jotun are also very well done, although they boil down to learn the bosses' patterns and know when to attack and when to run. Finally, it's clear that is a game made with a gamepad in mind, but I've been playing it with a keyboard, and didn't have any major issue.

So to conclude... if it is an action game that you want, look for something else, if you want a great-looking atmospheric game, DEFINATELY buy it.

First of all... this is pretty much the equivalent of a pilot... a short made to show up an idea for a feature movie. So if you're looking for a complete story, you're not gonna get it.

That said, it's still one of the best production samples and/or short movies I've seen. Takes a very interesting premise, which for some reason so far almost no proper movie or serie managed to got right, and rolls with it to the extreme. Lots of dark and bleak imagery, but also very well made and mesmerizing to watch. And the whole "alien lizardmen covered in nanites" design is something that I just love, both in concept and in execution.

As for the content in the Assetts Pack... you get a very meaty digital artbook, a full quality downloadable version of the short itself, a digital copy of its script and a 3D-printable model of one of the aliens from the movie. All for less than the price of a movie ticket.

If you like well made dark science-fiction, and want to support an indipendent studio that shows lots of promises when it comes to that, this is a purchase I very much recommend.
