I really like the story but combat is so abysmally bad that I find it hard to recommend. Even with all the settings on to make combat easier/faster, I find that every encounter sucks whatever fun and enjoyment I've had out of the game. If they removed combat altogether this would be an easy recommend from me.

I think it's a great game with tons of replay value. In my opinion, however, the appeal is far more niche than some fans may like to admit. If you're looking for a casual CRPG after playing something like Baldur's Gate 3 - this isn't it. If you're willing to learn and understand dense systems and mechanics this is a great pickup.

It's a lot of fun, but kind of janky at times. The optimization isn't amazing, and the systems can feel impenetrable at times. If you're a big fan of CRPGs, or Owlcats other games, I think it's a good purchase in its current state. If you're on the fence, I'd wait for updates/patches.

I've updated my review after reaching act 3, at which point the game becomes a buggy mess. I think I'd still recommend this if you're only really able to play a few hours a week, as by the time you reach the buggy parts of the game they'll probably be patched but as it stands this game feels disappointingly unfinished. I can't help but wonder if this was released in this state for holiday sales.

Amazing art style. I played the demo quite a bit, and the games only gotten better since then. It's not without it's annoyances, such as super frequent tutorial pop-ups and combat not immediately ending when a player dies but I'm really excited to see where the game goes from here.

It's fun, but definitely needs some work in my opinion. Some of the gods are useless at best and actively detrimental at worst., and with how shallow the boon pool is you'll very likely see the same powers every game. Your character is really slow, even with move speed boots, and the dash feels clunky to use half the time (I'm not the best player, so grain of salt here). This game seems to favor ranged heroes more, and there's currently only one available. There's a lot of potential here, and at $7 it's not a terrible purchase but I'd personally wait for more updates.

Super fun game. Really hard, but I enjoy every minute of it.
