A brutally unforgiving survival sim that can be very rewarding. This is not your average survival game. You need to take it slowly and not advance (or run) too quickly. Mindfulness and strategy are rewarded. Carelessness is punished. If played correctly, this game can be very relaxing and satisfying.

This game is brutal, but it offers many people, myself included, literally thousands of hours of fun and challenge. If you can get past the many losses learning takes, the vitriol of people you defeat, and the occasional devastating raid, Rust is endlessly fun. Play with friends or team up with strangers for the best time.

This game is very engaging. Challenging terrain, interesting plot and characters, but what really sets it apart is the sense of ambience. Definitely thrilling with headphones. All-in-all very fun crafting, survival zombie shooter. I love being a bowman and recovering my arrows to take on more zeds.
