This is one of the most remarkable and memorable games I have ever played. I've never been more immersed in a virtual world, enthralled by a story, charmed by a character (Elizabeth, the girl you're sent out to rescue for reasons unkown to you), exhilarated by gunplay, mindblown by an ending, and saddened by facing a game's end. This game, in all its brilliance, will go down as one of the most revered games of all time. If you're a gamer and you don't own BioShock Infinite, you're just simply doing it wrong. Explaining why it is so good would require me to engage in a face-to-face conversation with you over a cup of coffee or a glass of Scotch, depending on your preference. But don't let me ruin it for you. Just play it and find out for youself why this game is such a god damn masterpiece.

Fantastic blend of Noire-style storytelling and kickassery. If I'm destined to become an alcoholic, I hope I do it in style like Max Payne.

Freaking obsessed with this game. Truly a work of art. The movie Drive (in 8-bit mode) knocks back a flask of whiskey and does three lines of coke and goes into an ultra-violent, high-octane rampage, distinguished by its sheer brutality and bloodshed. The result? Hotline Miami. I'd love to see this become a franchise and eventually a movie title, given the appropriate director.
