The first half of the game is excellent! It does a very good job of establishing the theme throughout the first half- you know something isn't quite right, yet you must proceed with your duties in isolation- with excellent atmosphere on top!
Regrettably, I wish it stayed that way through the entirety of the game, as the second half forgoes pacing entirely in favor of information dumping, that is made worse with how vague the information that's presented to you is. At that point, it truly became "another pretentious walking sim with horror elements" in trying to explain itself. It is shown at the end that you need to play through the game multiple times in order to understand the story being told. Unfortunately, for me, the game is too ambiguous in explaining things to keep me invested enough in the story to play through it again.


I cannot recommend it for $7 since the second half of the game feels like a boring chore to try to solve (but I must admit that playing as the monster was really cool!) .

A very lovely and delightful game. I've enjoyed this thoroughly!
