Does not suck anymore. In fact, it would probably be good if there was a longer spawn timer.

It's probably good if you have never ripped a frolf driver with consistent success.

Never played it myself as a kid, thought I should on summer sale. If you play on hard and prepare to get your ass handed to you like you did on every game on easy as a child, one of the hardest games I've played in a long time, kind of feels like I finally received an ass kicking I deserved 21 years ago.

As bad as the gaming industry has been recently especially in regards to micotransactions and DLC not worth the cost, it's refreshing to see an indy group still making a game properly. Game is an absolute must play to anyone who enjoys city building. Myself being realtively new to city building meta had some difficulties beating the scenarios, so much so that I ended up having to play on easy like a pleb.

Graphics are dope, UW support, very steep learning curve, and well above average replayability. Personally, I'd compare the replayability to that on par with the Civ series. Can do things differently each time, focus on different laws, structure, and resources as well as the ability to ultimately decide how you wish to proceed in the endgame.

Price might seem a bit steep, but from my experience it's worth the price. *Yes, you can pause the game, you can also disable the feature*

Absolutely the best Mil-Sim game I've ever played (albeit in alpha) the first 10 hours of the game are the most horrific (full of butthurt) gameplay you think you've ever attempted personally; getting shot from no where, never spotting enemies and simply having no idea wtf you're doing. Learning curve is massive and requires quick learning, quick twich reactions, 100% teamwork/communication and most importantly patience.

I started taking squad lead position about 18 hours in after learning the basics of the game, and watching way too many bad SL's getting their guys wiped out mostly out of reluctant incompetence, It becomes night and day how to play the game when you have a SL that knows wtf they're doing, and actively gives a hoot about their guys getting hit and downed by the enemy.

I find the human interactions at the start of the round pretty awesome, guys talking about random shet that has nothing to do with the task at hand laughing it up full well knowing the poop's about to hit the fan. However when you have a squad of fully commited guys willing to work together as a team, point out enemy bearings, and trust their SL requardless of situation, this game gives off one of the most rewarding feelings when you set it down. Personally I get the feeling as,"Yeah, we just ♥♥♥♥ shet up for 40 minutes, lets do that again."

Now is it worth $40? I can see where people wouldn't say yes, "It's an alpha game with a singular gameplay, optimized like crap, just another take on BF4 conquest" In all reality it's worth full sticker price of a finished game. Looks beautiful, realistic, (for a video game) controls are simple yet precise, and gameplay that's extremely stressful and addictive. The regulars playing the game atm take this game as hardcore as I've seen gaming get. You really need to play the game to understand how special this game is. I highly suggest this game to any honest hardcore FPS gamers who are itching for the next big thing. Give the game a dozen hours and honestly tell me I'm dead wrong.

*TO THE DEVS*
Don't ♥♥♥ this game up, you have created something truly special to the genre here and I'm sure there's already thousands of dedicated fans backing the growth and production of this game in the coming years. Don't become the next Day-Z toss-up.
