Rough around the edges with many things feeling unfinished, but has a lot of good content and is very fun once you get into it.

If you are a Made in Abyss fan, definitely try it out if you can spare the cost or it goes on sale

Over 95% of the game occurs in the Deep in Abyss mode after the 5-6 hour Hello Abyss mode. It becomes a very different game after that with skill trees, quests, additional weapon types, clothing, relics, levelling and more. It took me 5 hours to clear Hello Abyss, and 60 hours to clear Deep in Abyss excluding most of the side quests.

It was really fun to see familiar characters interacting with each other and doing quests for them. I loved to see new areas of the Abyss and learn about the creatures within, filling a bestiary with information on everything.
