It's really good game.

It's something like classic Re1 and re2. It mixes interesting 2D pixel art effect in 3D world. it nicely switches the way game is rendered. One moment you can play in FPS another in point and click and mostly locked camera angle from resident evil series.

It feels 50/50 puzzles/combat. Some puzzles are more interesting than others like you get to interact with devices press some buttons see what happens :D (not just code type buttons...). At early game puzzles were easy and interesting and getting harder and harder till the end. Final puzzles feel near silent hill difficulty (tho not annoying).

If you liked classic resident evil 1/2/code veronica or silent hill 1,2,3 this game is a great fresh up as it doesn't try to re invent the wheel but somewhat freshen it up so it could surprise you and offer new interesting experiences in sci fi.

I played this game when callisto protocol was released and I also finished it. Callisto protocol and this game is totaly different games in same horror/creepy category but believe me you probably will enjoy this game more than callisto protocol.

This game was created by small indie team however this game easily can stand against other AAA horror games. 9/10

What I didn't liked was some game effects/text/audio was in german. I myself don't understand it so I took it as game lore that I should analyze/translate to understand more about the story. But it felt more like germany biased solution... it felt like all this was for german talkers... It could be another unkown/unused language so no one could understand it and have the same chance to translate it and have same experience. It felt like I was missing lore because it's my fault that I didn't know german. Maybe it's stupid thing to dislike but that's the way I felt.

Another thing was when I started to play the game I noticed something wasn't right with my character. Especially in the way she was walking! And then I noticed she has no feet so it felt like I'm watching at person but he is just not right, not like in other games :D. Tho I do understand the plot and story but I didn't liked there were no feet :D. I'm no feet person... just walking animation didn't looked like in re or silent hill series.

Don't think. Just buy it and you gonna love it !
If you loved hl you will really like it to.
Valve keeps coming with even more interesting and better hl games.

It's fun game for a while, but it does not deserve MGS title.
