Fatshark is stealing water from 3rd World Countries, but you're probably too occupied to notice that, considering you like the taste of Ogryn sweat in your mouth, as you again wipe the entire party, since your dumbass walked right into the Daemonhost, wondering what that thing is.

Crunchy Videogame. Even crunchier randomers.
Badly optimized, half of the content missing, it's like Nestle of videogames.

Enjoyable and a lot to unlock, tho it can be quite difficult at times in the later stages.

One of the best 5 Bucks I spend in a long time, so buy it if you didn't already did so!

I love the Dark Pictures Anthology series. I've played all of them always in co-op and it has always been a blast and an enjoyable time... until now.

The good: The new item mechanics are a neat addition. Not very groundbreaking but it worked out great and felt fluent. The dog survived.

The bad: Story feels weak; the villain is just there to be there, teleporting around which makes sense near the end; character choices feel unnatural and dumb.

The ugly: Characters breaking their necks to look behind them for some reason, camera locked some times, characters porting into the scene then becoming invisible then popping back in, characters that died appear for one scene and just disappear again.

I haven't found any game breaking glitches or bugs in my coop playthrough, yet I hope they fix them. I just couldn't get behind story wise, since there was, what I felt, no conclusion to the story. It was a rather open end, compared to the other games. Characters also became annoying and unlikeable over time, while I was rooting for them at the beginning, they just became worse by the minute.

I really do hope this was a product of rushed development and just a misstep in an otherwise great series.

For some reason my old review got deleted when I wanted to update it, so just putting it shorter this time.

-Artificial Difficulty
-Playerbase abandoned the game after Night 1 or shortly after Night 5 and never hit Night 15
-Playing the game is a chore and unfun
-Can't earn achievements in 10 Minute mode (which was possible on release to my knowledge)
-Only viable builds are Summon or Elemental Damage
-Only 3 good characters, the rest feel like wasted potential
-Hitbox doesn't seem to be consistant

Just not a fun experience, especially when there are better games out there like Vampire Survivors, which probably set the bar for these games pretty high.

It's very nice that the developers force you to sit your defeat out instead of giving up too early, cause if you give up you do not get any progress on the Battlepass.
Also: Only Ranked and Event Duels (which are not in as the time of writing this review) give you progress too.
And in good old Konami Fashion: The Pass costs 600 Gems. At level 99 you have exactly gained 600 Gems from said Pass.

A real man's game!

The first steps were having to apply like 7 fixes to make it work at 120 FPS and even then the game sometimes stuttered, which is not reflected in this review. I can see past this, since Fallout 4 was also buggy but I enjoyed my time with it. The only thing I noticed was input delay sometimes.

The game is just like Fallout 4, but just worse in all regards in my opinion and focused on microtransactions.
Here's why:
- Durability seems only to be added to make you buy repair kits
- Hitreg seems to be server side, meaning the damage you do comes delayed to your action, making me waste more than once a few bullets extra. (Could also be the input delay)
- Enemies turn into bulletsponges in later parts of the game

This are just some of the issues and problems with the game personally. If you don't agree with them or haven't experienced any of those, that's fine. Remember that this is speaking from personal experience.

I really do want to like this game. There is potential and I do enjoy it but I do not enjoy it so much that I would keep up with it for a long period of time. After all this time there are still bugs and the engine runs worse than Fallout 4. If this game gets the proper care and fixes it deserves, this could be a very good Fallout Multiplayer experience.

A game about dice involving tons of RNG? Who would have guessed?

The game really didn't suit my taste because it's almost 100% RNG and no skill involved. You die? Good. You unlocked nothing and you probably didn't learn anything and just blame the bad luck. So you try again and again, and there is no reward for doing the same thing over and over. The only "unlock" are background story of the enemies, which is a fun gimmick but nothing more than a gimmick.

In short: Repetition with no reward.

It is a suprise that Yakuza 7 actually went into the RPG-Genre for a change. A welcome change at that!

While maybe not for everyone, it's certainly not a bad game. The Yakuza charm and humour still in this game and you won't regret giving this one a try.

Storywise it felt a bit weaker compared to the prior games, but that's because Kiryu and Majima are by now well established characters, so let's hope we see more of Ichiban in the future!
