I have to be honest. I loved CS:GO for a really long time; technically, I grew up with it, same with CS1.6 and Source. All of these games were a big part of my life, so I'm sad to give a review like this for a game I love so much.

First of all, using the same reviews Counter-Strike: GO had is really weird. It feels a bit scummy because it's... CS2, no? or are we going down the OW2 path?

In recent weeks, I came back to CS:GO, and I really enjoyed playing it as a way of taking a small break from Valorant, but with the current version of CS2, I cannot do so.
It feels like my shots don't register; rubber-banding is definitely a problem (or maybe it's desync? hard to say.).

Either way, as a conclusion:
We've got a game that's less polished overall and feels more luck-based and frustrating than its predecessor (which you cannot play anymore unless you change everything to the experimental update, but you shouldn't have to do that).
MacOS support is no longer a thing... which is unacceptable when you take away the previous game completely that had support for it.
It doesn't really describe a company that puts players first, but I guess that was never the motto of Valve.
And using the same store page the previous game had??

Oh and almost forgot...
Achievements! wow finally I have 100% of the achievements for this game, it's such an improvement compared to the previous one, so much easier to max it out! ....

I'm happy to change this review in the future if things change.

Currently unplayable.
I tried everything I could on my side, but as soon as I get into the prologue my mouse locks up and even if I close the game I have to reconnect it.
Feels like the game itself is crashing my peripherals, and it's a bit concerning since I never seen anything like this happen before.
Refunded.

One of the best games I have ever played with.
Good graphics, good story, and a new experience .. can't really ask for more.
