I really do enjoy the game, but while the PSN doesn’t personally affect me, I had several friends who paid for the game would lose access due regional bs.

Edit 2: Make it game open everywhere, Sony.

Short version: Overall, solid game with good art and solid animations but feels more like a proof of concept hoping to drum up interest and support for future endeavors. Maybe needed a bit more content and time, but worth the price.

Getting more into the mostly spoiler free details, despite this being what appears to be the full release, the game just has all the hallmarks and trappings of an early release title or a game that had wrapped up before the final vision was realized.

Game play is functional though kinda jarring at points, with combat being bare bones 'deckbuilder' and then often the game pulling a number of mini game sections, several which are only used once ... with several having the option to skip them. There are other gameplay things like crafting, but all of which are very barebones which doesnt help the feeling the game was either rushed or more a proof of concept.

Story is fairly straightforward, and while there are a few moments of curiosity, there is both the feeling several story threads got alot of love and writing, yet others get wrapped up and left hanging super promptly ... and most confusing of all, such statements can apply to the exact same story thread, perplexingly. Then other characters and plots are introduced only for ... nothing to happen or get resolved, leaving you to feel like there should be SOMETHING but nope, they either don't appear or get addressed.

Never mind the disconnect between the main story verse what you will be encountering as you play through the story threads of the main cast.

All while leaving hints for 'more to come!' in way that if this was Early Access, Sure, but given this is the full release? Yeah still feels more like a demo.

There are also a few bugs and gripes, cards wouldn't select properly at times, Also when clicking through text, if a choice pops up, sometimes the game will just treat it as you selected whatever the nearest choice to where the mouse it instead of actually having to select the box. And some of the more QTE mini games kinda get thrown in your face without any preamble.

Early Access Review
Short Version: When getting this .... game, you're doing so to 'see' the characters and 'aherm' Scene animations, particularly the money shots, no pun intended. If that prize if worth it for ya, great, if ya wanted a bit more game, wait for a few updates.

I would more give a 'Meh' recommendation but since its either Yes or No, I'm gonna give a tentative yes for those knowing what they're here for, and No for everything else.

Long version: Been curious for this game for a while and now that is in early access, at the moment of writing this it is probably the most early access feeling game I've played. If anything I would call this a 'Proof of concept' or even a Demo if feeling generous. You can clearly see where the put all the time and effort in what I shall refer to as the 'rewards' which, to be fair are all varied and well done feature a small but lovely looking cast of tired and needing some 'relief' monster girls.

Just ya have to get through a few layers of jank and a few questionable gameplay mechanics. Jank includes scenes and textures not loading in, characters shooting out of position or twitching violently while on the table or the camera flipping out. Questionable is like giving us camera control most of the time, but in some moments lock the camera in a mechanic that would very much benefit from the ability to move the camera, since otherwise you just have to help you not only find the spot, but when the character reacts they dont move in the way that resets your progress and you have to spend 5 minutes finding the correct pixel again to finish the massage.

Other than that there is kinda nothing to really review. The money earning aspect is just a random 4 beat rhythm game which, in my mind, you are approached by randomly generated females OCs from *Insert Popular MMO of choice here* in which your paid to either never touch or slap the ass/judo chop the spine said women for cash to see an animation of your character working out so he power through massage sections, which is "Make sure every area is green and purple heart", touch the red zone, find the correct area to violently shake your mouse, and then see why all the other mechanics can be done with just the mouse.

All the budget clearly went to the last part, which to be fair are nicely down animations or the money shot animations are ... mostly well done.

As I said, this whole experience feelings like a demo or proof of concept than anything else. There is so much to either fix or expand on. Some appear to be in the works, like the other upgrades to purchase and such, other just feel like place holders like the money earning massaging.

My suggestions/advice for the game:

Impliment some better money earning system, rather actually go all in with the rhythm game with more variety and maybe the ability to do more fast/chaotic things for higher payouts. Or maybe give a mini version of other massage mechanics and how fast/well we do it, the higher reward?

Allow of camera control or at least different angles during the 'Body Massage' segments, we get control of the camera in all other points.

Dear lord some better tutorials than what currently exist. They are less helpful at the moment and more 'Vaguely gesture what to do and hope the player can figure it out or brute force it'

Maybe during the reward scenes, allow for some 'controls' such as speed, maybe a few alternative 'interactions' for the same pose? Something other than the 'fire the cannons.'

And general just work on better collusion and such.

Is the Yawhg Good? I would say Yes, its fun, amusing, and it has this charm and character to it that while having a grounding in maturity and even harsh reality. Easy to understand and depending how many chracters you're using, each game is probably only 15 min long. While its in no way a muliplayer game in the tradition sense, I do feel there is almost this party quality to it, the game more fun when you have a bunch of friends watch, laughing at quirky moments and getting mind crushed when some of the more dark and burtal moments.

Its a game that, how my wife put it when she did her first round, feels almost like a mini-table top roleplaying session. Rapidly making choices which, depending on the roll (Or in the Yawhgs case, RNG and Stats) can lead to good and bad outcomes. It also makes people realize that even Good outcomes in one case could actually lead to bad outcome for someone else (An Example of this would be what happens to the Bard in the trailer of the game)

Despite all of fun moments, probably the thing that struck me most was how it seemed at times you can do everything right, and still feel like you somehow lost. Like how you an ultimately save the town, but the endings for the character could be so ... normal, maybe even sad. It reminds me of that one qoute Picard says from Star Check (paraphrasing here) "It is possible to do everything right, but still lose in the end".

Overall, The Yawhg is both fun an experience I would suggest to others. Its charming, is quirky, it can be very dark, and undertone of maturity it pulls off so well. Its the kind of game, no matter how well or bad I did, made me apperciate life a bit more, if that makes any sense.

Where to begin with No Man's Sky?

Honestly I am not sure if there was ever more a game that could be equally loved and hated at the same time. Personally, I enjoyed No Man's Sky very much, but your enjoyment of the game is very dependant on what you expect from it.

Ultimately, No Man's Sky is an EXPLORATION game. If you came seeking out Adventure and Action in the same way as say, Freelancer, you will be disappointed.

If you came her seeking a crafting or world building game such as Minecraft, This is NOT you Game.

But if you come, wanting to see work and grind to find world after world, to be enchanted by the wonder of randomly generated worlds, this will be extremly amusing.

As some general facts, visually No Man's Sky is very pretty and through my experience runs well. Seriously, my Old Laptop chugs just to run the min settings on games like Overwatch but I havent touched a damn thing here in No Man's Sky and it runs smooth other than the occasional hicup which I am willing to excuse over the fact that despite the price, I would class this game as 'Indie' through and through.

Gameplay wise?

In terms of telling you how to play the game, good bloody luck. While not as bad as, say Minecraft in terms of not telling you what to do, it is Very Sparse on explaining how to play. Even what I would descibe as 'Quest Markers' are at times a pain to deal with, since the game seems to randomly decide on which task it suggest you do first without really allowing you to switch or focus on which one you want to do first. I can't tell how many mechanics I had to find out through trail and error or looking things up.

No Man's Sky is very grindy and the inventory management system gives me one hell of a headache. Even the system which you report you findings for credits I find a pain to deal with.

Still, I find myself loving No Man's Sky, but not in the game aspects of it. I am lost in the world, I am asking questions of why I am here, and I am enjoying myself landing on new worlds, finding whatever life or resources exist.

While this next bit is probably the most NERD thing I have every used as an comparrison, it is the only way I feel I could best recommend/describe No Man's Sky.

Using Star Trek as a reference, if you come to this game playing as you would one Captain Kirk: Exploring Worlds, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Alien Races, Kicking Ass, and Proving Human Awesomeness through Combat and Cunning, No Man's Sky is NOT the Game for you. Seriously, this game would bore you out of your mind.

If you follow this game like Spock might do so: Exploring Worlds, exaimining life, gathering resources just enough to ensure your surivive and advancement while following your vague mission of going to where no man has gone to before? This game will be one you can get lost into and enjoy.

In the End? I enjoy No Man's Sky.

There is alot I would prefer from this game. I would Love a Planet side Map, or some way which you could set a waypoint to locations I already found that isnt at the whims of the computer. I would like a better tutorial and inventory system. I wish the animals had a wider varity to them and more RPG style interactions and choices to make.

Maybe even some kind of active multiplayer.

Would I Suggest No Man's Sky? Well it depends what you want/ If you want Action, Trade, and Adventure? Then no.

If you want Exploration, Wonder, and Naive Innounce of Finding Worlds similiar and yet so strange at the same time? Give this game a try if you have the money.

Early Access Review
Darkest Dungeon is a fun little RPG that reminds me alot of Warhammer with a sprinkling of Lovecraft. While it might just be me, I found myself growing rather fond of my motly crew of misfits growing before with their mostly random traits and interesting little quips and conversations.

Having said that, the game also forces you to unlearn most game logic of making sure you characters have to live. Just like the world, the game can be outright brutal and unfair, leaving the bitter taste of failed quest and dead companions in its wake. Leaving you only opinion is try and pick up the pieces and move forward cause there are no way to undo what is done unless you want to start over from square one.

Over all, very fun and paradoxily charming in a very burtal way. The game can be very unfair at times, so if you're not prepared to let things go/take a few blows you might want think careful before attempting to conquerer the Darkest Dungeon
