Where to start...
Well, first of all, you MUST play this without knowing anything about the game. Why? Because Undertale is not just a game, it's an experience.
Everything you do (well, almost) has a consequence. Will you just blindly kill anything that crosses paths with you? Or will you try to understand what's going on in this world and help the monsters that inhabit it? That's up to you. You choose your own path and, consequently, the monster's.
I've spent many hours on this game, and I always discover something new. I often asked myself "what would happen if I'd done this instead?", and almost everytime I'd discover something new. In the end, it's your curiosity and determination what pushes you to play it again... and maybe do something you don't want to do.
And that's the other part that makes this game an experience: you really end up caring about this world... and hating it. But not hate as "this game is ♥♥♥♥", but as a hate for not being able to keep going and know what'll happen next... or hate towards yourself. It's really hard to explain it without spoiling anything.

But, as a reviewer, I must also talk about the cons.

If you don't check the web, you won't find every secret on this game.
I know I know, that's why it's called secret, but there's one that I don't think I would've found if I didn't check the web (maybe if it had unexpectadly closed for whatever reason after talking to a certain character). Anyone who has done it must know what I mean: talking to Sans in the pacifist route to get his bedroom key.

Also the FUN events. There're random events that appear if the FUN variable has a certain value, but after a lot of runs there're some that i haven't seen. Yes, you can change the value and see it, but it shouldn't be that way. It would be better with a smaller range of values for this variable.

And... that's it. I can't think of any other cons

So, should you buy it? Definitely.
I really wish I could forget everything about this game and feel it one more time.
