My words do this game no justice.

Early Access Review
Pokémon meets Ultima Online (minus the "online").

What's to hate?

As an audiofile, I value the soundtracks
almost as much as the game itself. When dev
companies offer such stellar deals on their
already A+-title game; it is hard to resist.

And at just 99 pence, you'd be foolish
not to take home this glossy pebble.

Unlike M&B: With Fire and Sword,–
(which is listed at the same price)
this addition to the M&B series was released as DLC,
which I find to be much more honest.
*The musical score is phenomenal (staple classical pieces),
and the engineer class is such a joy.

As a veteran of "The Deluge" M&B: Warband mod-,
-I can safely say that this game, which should
have been released as DLC for Warband as it brings
NOTHING new to the table-, not only pales in comparison
with [The Deluge] mod, but by doing so, the devs failed to achieve
what they had set out to.

This game is pretty much the god-game of free-to-plays ever built. I'm not gonna go into too much specifics, however, as my first time viewing the steam-store page, they really picked some deceptively scrolled-in-all-the-way screencaps, and seemed to have an obssession with lots of swirling and radially-ejecting spells. There is a bit of that in this game but I don't necessarily think the spell-groups displayed in the first screenshots really give an accurate feel for the game itself.
  • NOT pay-to-win (unless you count extra stash space... the only other form is cosmetics... not even exp boost)
  • Widely considered to be the spiritual successor of Diablo II
Anything else?

This standalone full-conversion mod is a Real-time Strategy (RTS) which utilizes the commander feature much like in the Battlefield™ series. The commander sits at the helm constructing buildings as with any RTS while his faction-members carry out squad-based tasks, and perform duties required of their class. Play as one of two factions with slightly differing attributes, but with a wide array of tactical vehicles, defenses, customizeable loadouts for your soldier and your soldiers' vehicles. While bracing the harshness of few players as with any Source™ mod, this is a gem of its genre that is really one of a kind. AND FREE!

I totally recommend!!!

Tons of fun: has a feature-filled equipment menu with tons of useful technology. Weapons range from easy to use (assault rifle), to more skill-based weapons like plasma cannon or camera guided rocket-launcher. From the sound effects/voice acting, to the elaborate mech-suit world animations and impressive level-design, this Half-Life2 cyber-punk-themed mod is a real charm, and going strong after 8 years!
