"Less Death Blocks!"

Yeah less death blocks my ass. Okay there were quite a few but not as much as the first game had.
But that aside they were actually well placed and challenging to get past instead of the random cluster ♥♥♥♥ in the first game.

Now with that out of the way, to get to the actual game itself.

Let me start off by saying, this game is like, 200% improvement over the first one.


Graphics:

Still the same as the first game, but vastly improved, in a good way of course. All of the lstages had their own unique visuals and enemies in their specific levels and felt like they would be there. And every stage looked fantastic.


Sound:

I can't put in words how awesome the soundtrack to this game was, I was blown away to say the least. The first game had a good soundtrack as well, but this one blew it out of proportions. Probably my favorite song from a level would be the one playing on Hong Dong 97. Another thing that made this game a whole lot better was when you went underwater. I know it seems like a minor detail, but as I went to the water, I was hoping it would sort of muffle the songs, and it did. The songs and how they were made fit each level perfectly.


Animation:

Right off the bat I had noticed the moving and attacking amimations were much more fluid and flowed into each other nicely.


Weapons:

The balls (or whatever they're called, the ones that sucked ass in the first game) actually weren't a piece of ♥♥♥♥ in this game. Sometimes I would actually hope to get it at some points in a level.

***Special note*** THANK YOU FOR THE SPREAD SHOT, IT IS EASILY MY FAVORITE WEAPON

Also, the sound of the weapons, and deaths of enemies were vastly improved and each kill felt very satisfying.


Story:

It starts up somewhat similar to the first game, but honestly this version is much better. TL:DR: Nostalgia Critic stole your ♥♥♥♥, go kick his ass. I like how in this one they tell you how to use the controls instead of just throwing you into the game in the first one. Right off the bat, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Mike tells you about controls and what they do, but the nerd does not care for tutorials, not one bit.



Last remarks:

I had only played for two hours and beat the game and haven't found all the nerd's ♥♥♥♥. That being said, I do plan to 100% this game.

I would recommend this game to anyone who likes/is a fan of AVGN. All the sublte humor and refrences are amazing.
(Get the soundtrack too if you can, you won't regret it.)

Mighty quest for epic loot? More like the mighty quest for epic ♥♥♥♥, am I right game developers? This game is so bad, I'd rather eat my own ass, then play 1 level. I mean, what were they thinking? This game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks monkey ♥♥♥♥. If anyone even plays this game anymore, I suggest you eat your shorts now.
