♥♥♥♥'s dumb.

I am certainly quite enjoying this game, I'm looking forward to playing when I get home from work, or playing on days off. Everything has made me quite happy with my purchase.

The Mtx are such a minor blight in my opinion, I feel no need to purchase any as you can farm and obtain the items quite easily, that it doesn't feel like they made the items difficult to obain in order to coerce people to need to purchase them.

Performance, I certainly see the frustration and understand the side people are taking on it. I do wish it had been released in a better state, the towns dips in FPS are currently frustrating but they don't make it unplayable. I haven't faced any crashes in my 15 hours, but I will consider myself lucky on that front. I look forward to what the future holds for any performance improvements.

Good! but lacking some content and polish.

It's simply a game that is worth every penny.

Game kind of sucks. Would never pay 40USD, bought on sale at 50% off, still, isn't really worth it.

tl;dr: I'm not saying anything that hasn't been said 1000 times in the reviews. Wildcard s(h)its out content into the game. 3 months later, nothing has really changed, you're hardly using the content theyve been adding. Consistent Server Lag, learn to accept it. This is probably the only game where there isn't a noticable difference between dial-up and high speed. It's odd how many people I've talked to that have explained to me that they just deal with all the problems with this game.

1. The menu's are atrocious. There's hundreds of survival crafting games out there that all follow a very similar formula when it comes to inventory and menus. Ark chooses to throw all conventions out the window, in favor of buttons to perform any inventory action. It feels very counterintuitive to what almost all other open world survival games have laid the groundwork on.
2. You literally jump as high as your characters ankles. You'll get stuck in doors/walls hoping off a mount. You'll hop off cliffs if you make the mistake of getting off near an edge.
3. I solo and get several dino's as well as a medium sized base together, i have friend hop on to join for a few hours. Need to make tribe so they can use the base. Afterwards, I wan't to disband the tribe as it wasn't a serious name, so i leave the clan. Now I don't have any access to my dino's or base, despite it having my name as the creator. I now need my friend to get on to get me back in. Why in the hell do I not still have a priority being that I am the Owner? This should never be something that is missing in a game.
4. There is little to no Dino A.I. Yeah there's many dino's, but no encounter is really all that different.
5. Official Servers LAG. Completely takes away the enjoyment of dinosaur battles. Makes flying mounts frustrating to land. Enjoy using a pike to poke the air 3 times before landing a hit according to the server.
6. Hey there's a ton of content here. Always something to do. The only problem, literally everything in the game lacks any polish. Why doesn't my cooking pot cook meat?
7. I'm just going to say bugs.

With all that said, i'm still playing it, but its not something I really am investing anything important into.

EDIT: Bought the newest Expansion with the Season Pass on sale. I've tried to play for about 20 minutes, and I've had two crashes. WIldcard...What the ♥♥♥♥ is your issue. You're constantly such a let down. I'm so glad this hit several months late like this, and in this state. Shame.
