!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please note that the game has a bug that can cause the game to crash randomly on Windows. One way to fix this that worked for me was to disable controllers in the game, following these steps
https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Offspring_Fling!#Game_crashes_.28Windows.29
!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Offspring Fling! is a 2D Puzzle platformer you play as the mother who must pick up and fling the little ones to the exit door. Stages in the game are pretty short but can take a while to figure out how to solve them.

Completing a stage gives you a flower; blue is for regular completion, Gold for beating a par time and Rainbow for clearing a stage by a time set by the dev.

The game's visuals are simple and easy to discern, and the music is very comforting to me. I've played the game using the keyboard and the controls can take a while to get used to, but once you've figured the ins and outs of how to use platforms and proper flinging of the offsprings, you'll be able to clear stages fast enough for a gold rainbow on all of them.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is a multiplayer first person action game. First time players can go through a tutorial mission before reaching the main game hub from which they can start playing missions online. The game does have bots which will replace online players if they get booted from a mission/session or if a player ends up starting a mission solo.

The game consists of 4 classes each with their own unique actions and abilities: Zealot and Vetern are all rounds with Zealot excelling more in melee combat but has a good set of ranged firearms to help take out certain targets. Ogryn is the big tanky guy, while Psyker are the chaos (magic) casters of the game. Each class has its own set of weapons as well as passives that players can assign as they level up their character(s), which come in very handy once players get a proper feel for the gameflow and in harder difficulties.

If you're down for an online multiplayer action game to play with friends, this can be a good option as the combat and weapons have nice feel for them, although the progression to unlock certain equipment of preference can take a while.

A hectic and visually amusing fighting game with a 'ratio' system that allows for up to 3v3 tag matches or even 1v3 matches.
It can take time to learn but the wacky animation and characters can lead to some fun shenanigans in casual play.

A lovely and colorful 2D platformer in a similar vein to the Donkey Kong Country games. While a short game, it manages to deliver a lovely platforming experience for all ages, which is helped by having a soothing and beautiful soundtrack.

While the main objective in each main stage is to reach the end, there are collectible feathers that one can also collect to reach that 100% completion. Furthermore, there is a time trial mode to further test your skills and its mostly easy to get a Gold medal on your first tries.

In the options, it is possible to turn on a 'Casual' difficulty where you only lose 1-ups from certain hazards, and you take no damage from enemies. I managed just fine with the normal difficulty of having 3 hit points, but there's also a 2-hit points difficulty if one is up for the challenge.

The creators have just recently included a free expansion being a set of dinosaur themed levels that have their own set of tricks and hazards to test your skills in. Upon completing them, an alternate harder variation of these stages becomes available too.

About its biggest issue for me that the game feels a tad too zoomed out, and while I understand that it is this way because of the stage design, I would've liked to have a zoom in option so that the character you're controlling is clearer to see. I digress; I still managed to beat the game fine as is, but some folks might have difficulty playing certain games if their character models seem too small for their eyes.

All in all though, if you are in the look out for a short and rather chill platformer, this is definately one to check out, and if the visual style appeals and works for you, that's a double bonus!

A must have for fans of beat'em-ups and the franchise. The pixel art is really beautiful and the game animates pretty well with a simple to pick up and play gameplay with up to 6-player online.

A fun co-op experience. It can take time to get some of the later gear and traps but the extra modes can help speed that up. Speaking of which, the various modes you can play in are a nice change of pace such as randomizing a buff and debuff for a set of 5 levels, or just the traditional survival mode.
Performance wise, I haven't had any issues running it and it overall ran quite well on most high settings on my GTX 970M

Chronology is a 2D Puzzle Platformer where you play as the Inventor who uses his watch to switch between 'Before' and 'After' states. By switching between these states, items and certain platforms can become available, and they make up much of the platforming and puzzle aspects of the game.
You will eventually meet the Snail which can act as an additional platform from which you can use to jump from to reach certain locations along with its own unique time ability.

The game isn't very long and while a few puzzles were a little tricky to figure out, it's an overall solid game and I quite enjoyed it. Visuals and music are nice as well.

Never Yield is a 2.5D auto runner, mainly gameplay involves avoiding obstacles by pressing one of 3 directions that match the type of obstacle in your way.
The game's visuals are nice and simple, and it has a really nice and catchy soundtrack.
The game has 3 difficulty levels that unlock by the 2nd stage or so, with the hardest removing slowdown before an obstacle, which can offer a challenge for those interested. Stages can be replayed in order to clear them as fast as possible without any mistakes offering some replayability.
I really enjoyed this game and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a light gaming experience and/or have a game on the side to cool off from bigger games.

Sacred Citadel is a 2D style beat'em-up with light RPG mechanics. Each of the 4 characters have their own triats and attacks that can be used to take down enemies with, furthermore, each of them can benefit from certain stats that can be increased when you level up. For example, the Safiri benefits from increasing their strength stat, whereas the Ranger can benefit from the Dextirity stat.

The game isn't too long and is quite fun played co-op. The DLC adds a new chapter to play through that attempts to tie up a loose end from the main story, and it goes for a nice price during sales so you could get it if you want a bit more beat'em-up action.

With all the updates over the years and extra characters added to the game, it's become a better game than it started out. While it may not have the most interesting single player modes, if you're a fan of the series or looking for more fighting games to play offline or with friends, this is one that's worth getting.

The Champion Edition version of the game is the one to pick up, which offers 24 additional characters as well as multiple outfits and stages. The base game is easy to pick up for beginners and there are various guides in the game and on Youtube at least to get an idea of its various systems and mechanics.
