Early Access Review
Solid autoshooter roguelike with satisfying upgrades and mechanics. It's certainly tricky and a bit different from DRG but its still a fun experience.

Amazing little game that is like a minimalist Factorio with infinite resources and increasingly complex recipes you need to prepare.

The game is pretty fun and chaotic. It's a little unfair at times but that works in all directions. The rounds are quick so it's a great game for anyone who doesn't want to commit to a lengthy party game. It's also very funny and satisfying when everything goes right (or wrong).

Pros:

* The maps are all amazing eye candy that are incredibly fun and rewarding to explore
* The locations are all interesting with special events going on. Nothing feels generic. Whether its a fashion show or a high end hotel or luxury hospital, it captures that international exploration feel of movies like '007 or Mission Impossible Destinations.
* There are many ways to achieve the objectives including ones that can be rather spontaneous, offering great replayability
* The game looks amazing. The visuals are great.
* Gameplay is much more fun than other stealth games that rely solely on cover-based movement and crawling through vents. Disguises are fun to employ.
* The story missions can be very fun and funny. The dialogue while cheesy as hell is also hilarious sometimes. Hearing 47 talk in his monotone voice about how he 'aims to please' or always 'succeeds at the execution of his goals' while in a disguise and talking to someone else is never not funny.
* Now that this game exists, there is no reason to buy Hitman 1 or Hitman 2 as this game includes all the same missions (with a major caveat listed below)

Cons:
* Unnecessary always online for missions. There is really no reason you should need to be online for your game experience when playing a single player game. Sometimes the servers will randomly disconnect and it will interrupt your game. The game also tracks information about how you play the game automatically by virtue of launching it, including hardware information.
* The game dangles the DLC/special editions you don't own in front of you every time you open the game. You should play this mission next! Oh but you don't own it! Any owners of Hitman 2 deluxe edition will be dismayed to hear that bonus missions they previously paid for (e.g. NYC Bank) are no longer available in this base edition unless you buy the deluxe edition.
* When playing the story missions, the game sometimes holds your hand a little too tight - dialogue you overhear is sometimes a little too on-point to sound organic and there just to lead you to what you are supposed to do. Likewise the game tells you exactly where to pick up a hidden item and what to press when. There's always a deus ex machina moment where if you follow the instructions, all the guards disappear giving you that magic opportunity to get a clean kill. I guess the alternative to this is spending 30 minutes trying to figure out what to do and reading guides which isn't much fun. Nonetheless a lot of these stories feel very linear despite the generally non-linear feel of the levels.

Overall, Hitman 3 is a very fun and enjoyable experience, although the delivery of the platform I feel could be a little better.
