Game is fun now, the quests are a little dry, and the way they have multiple stages but you keep having to go back and forth between the quest giver and locations on the map is a little bit annoying when you have to pay for fast travel, however, you do get more spread out rewards so that mitigates it somewhat. The most fun I've had in this game is my interactions with random players, exploring with my friends, and looting/scrapping for components to make new items. Excited to see how they keep expanding on this game. A whole lot better than it was at launch for sure.

I have only played a small amount of this game but I can honestly say I love it and will definitely enjoy playing through the rest. So much fun, great spooky sci-fi atmosphere. If you like Bioshock I recommend this. Will update my review upon further completion.

EDIT: Game good, play

There is lots of fun to be had here, and it's full of fan service, however, the performance is poor with unstable framerates, the textures and lighting are flickery, it's a CPU hog and the settings are not detailed enough. I am playing on an 11800h and RTX 3070, on medium with DLSS enabled I can just about get 60 in most areas and sub 30 in a lot of others, which to be honest, is pretty unacceptable, especially after hearing about people on much more powerfull rigs having the same problems as me.

Just got done doing my third or fourth run of this game since it came out. This time I did a pacifist run and it was very enjoyable, I will be doing another this time with new game + probably pretty soon. I really love the world in this game, and the Deus Ex series as a whole. This game has very nice graphics if you have the ability to use them, the sound design is really good and the music is phenomenal. It could do with being a bit longer however, and the ending is a bit abrupt.

Both this game, and HR, excel at different things. I feel the story in the previous game is a bit more fleshed out and I really enjoyed the globetrotting aspect of it. MD on the other hand has a very detailed and enjoyable setting with Prague, providing many hidden routes and areas to find, also I think the game play is somewhat improved in MD. Overall they are both very enjoyable games, that are very dear to me.

I had some issues with this game crashing, mostly in the later parts of the story. I mostly had issues when loading a new area. I managed to get around this by dropping my graphics settings, turning off windowed fullscreen and changing my direct x version, maybe this will help you as well if you are having problems.

This game is short but fun, maybe don't try playing it on extreme i'm not sure how that would go. I played it single player on medium. The visual style is really interesting and the game itself is quite graphic. I thought this game would be garbage but I actually enjoyed it quite a bit, maybe you will too. Probably only worth getting on sale.

EDIT: This game just sucks, out of all of the Splinter Cell games this is the worst. The bugs and glitches suck, and the Kinshasa mission is a mess. The final mission for me was bugged so I couldn't see the end credits, when the SWAT guys drop in they just freeze and the game stops lmao. The other version is supposed to be better but i'm not sure about that as I haven't played it. If you choose to play this, good luck, it's an infuriating mess.



There is a great game buried under all the bugs, glitches and issues, which makes me very sad. The story is cool and the locations are great but this game crashes all the time. I'm currently on the Shanghai mission and have lost track of how many times I've had to relaunch the game after changing the core affinity just for it to work for a bit and then crash again when I save, and that is just in this mission. It's a real shame because I have loved this series since I was about 5 years old and this is the only one I've never played, I am still going to finish it, but I don't recommend anyone play it unless you're a big fan of the series, enjoy pain, or have 2 quid to blow when it's on sale and don't really care about the issues.
