Phenomenal game, best fighter since GGS easy, Capcom really stepped it up on this one; providing a great game for long time Fighting Game fans as well as more approachable options to ease in newer players. Got a few friends into the game and we've all had a blast in the various modes and continue to get better as we play. Every character has appeal and the systems are all easy to learn and straightforward, you cant really go wrong, even if you're on the fence, this is definitely a game you'll wanna get on sale.

The ONE thing that people have been complaining about now that the game is out for everyone is related to the other additions for the game. Quite a few people didn't realize that everything mentioned in the Ultimate edition and character pass ONLY applies to the DLC characters set to release over the course of the next year. So for anybody looking to get into the game, don't worry, everyone is on the same footing cosmetics wise right now (on the topic, they're all really cheap, 5 bucks gets you 5 alt costumes for characters, and pretty much everything you see in the game can be unlocked for free to my knowledge).

I really like what this game is going for, it has too many cool ideas for its own good frankly. I've had this game on the back burner for a while, and after what seemed like years of not hearing anything about a game i thought would take off for sure, i finally know why now. Quite frankly, the game is amazing with everything that isn't the actual game... or the story, that ♥♥♥♥ sucks ass. Right from the start i was disoriented as to what i was doing, and the game never seems to give you an answer that feels right. And its a damn shame considering how straight forward the story would be, for it to just ignore the obvious for something incoherent and obtuse is just disappointing. I'm sad to say this as I did really appreciate what the project was gunning for, but i cant recommend this to anyone in its frankly incomplete state.

I can say that I hope the best for the developers in the future though, there are a lot of good ideas here :)

I came into this game thinking something along the lines of "I know it's bad, but i got in in the bundle, I might as well see if there's anything redeemable about it." Let me tell you right now that by the end of the first session I was pretty much drained of all energy and had to stop my stream of the game to regenerate myself. This game sucks your energy away from you, and for a video game that has the sole purpose of getting you to enjoy yourself, I think that's a bad sign. I did beat the game, but I attribute that to not wanting to let this game beat me.

One of the most fun new releases out right now, though I should say that unfortunately it's not a complete release. Only the first chapter of the game is available at the time of this review, as of right now I've gotten through almost all of the content in the game with my play time of around six hours. I'm definitely looking forward to what's in store, but just know that as of right now you're buying the game to support the development of the game.
8/10, I'm sure it'll be a 10 on release :D

This game is hard but like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is it so rewarding to beat a level that's been kicking your ass for the past hour.
