Very good community, never have issues finding matches. There does seem to be performance issues with stutter after the recent patches. Visuals and sound are very good. Weapon handling and modifications are realistic.

Spend 8 hours browsing the F4Nexus finding mods like a kid in a candy store with $50. 1 hour to Download everything using the mod manager. Try to Launch game with instant crash. Delete mods one by one crying like a ♥♥♥♥♥ cause you really wanted that cool weapons pack or new indoor area. Game never launches even after you remove hundreds of mods. Uninstall and stay bitter about it till a year later you start the cycle again believing it will work THIS time.

The original was the first PC game i've ever bought as a kid. Played on my parents gateway computer with an 8mb ati card. I remember looking at the game box everytime i went into the store to look with great intrest at the art showing the Taidan heavy cruiser on front. When i finally was able to save enough i was amazed at what i found inside. The prima strategy guide, soundtrack, and historical book. The historical book itself was an incredible piece of lore to read.

The game itself was story telling and gameplay that has never left me. One day while looking for x-wing alliance mods i stumbled upon complex. Complex is the longest running mod in history. Complex 13 is currently in development and between complex 12 is amazing. This package is amazing with the amout of details added with both homeworld games (sadly no cataclysm) which gives you acesss to the original games and original mods. The remastered complex mod is reason enough to buy. No game has come close to welling tears of nostalgia in my eyes and brought me back to a time of joy.

Fantastic visual upgrade from mobile version to the pc version. Mouse interface arguably works better than touch controls on the smaller devices. Worth the $4.99 entry price. Please support the dev so they bring the even longer and more intricate sequel to pc. If your worried about the plunge then make sure to grab if its on sale of course and add it to your backlog.
