Game of the year for me!
The nostalgia that this game brings along with the surprises at every turn for me mean this game is far and beyond any other game on the market today.
My advice play and play through... you will not be disappointed.. scared yes... worried YES... Thrilled.. OHHH YES!

Frostpunk is a beautiful Survival / City Builder that takes you to in depth political choices. The UI, the city building and the scope of the game is superb. There are lots of twists and turns that you take as you progress through the game that keeps you involved and guess what I have found no bugs! WHAT I hear you say... no bugs in a new release on steam! HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE!

After several hours of game play 5.6, to be exact I have completed the first scenario..... However my disappointment was short lived as I saw that I have new scenarios to play! So to all those people giving bad reviews about replayability look at the new scenarios, the upcoming scenarios and the custom games.

The price is right for this game, unlike many early access games which can cost alot more than this!

Cons

After 5.6 hours I completed the first scenario! (This could be negated by more scenarios already in place and more to come.)
No multiplayer
No AI enemies (Maybe rival colonies?)


After playing more scenarios I will update my review but for now I highly recommend this game!

It is what Sea of Thives should have been, Fair enough the open world is not there but Ships Grpahics Gameplay is awesome! Highly recommend to all pirates out there!

Bugs: Yes

However it is early access and in my opinion one of the best early access games I have played.

How does it fare against other sandbox survivals?

After 2 years of playing Ark, a failed attempt at Conan, a fair go at 7 days to die I was ready for a new sandbox survival and Dark and Light fits all requires for a superb game.

Yes there are bugs (It is erly access), but the Devs appear to keep on top of fixs and already some of the early bugs are no more.

It is a survival game, so yes it is brutal and not forgiving, It is an alpha, so yes there are bugs, However go into the game expecting these and you wont be dissapointed!

Loving the game Devs keep up the good work and please listen to the community rather than doing what every other sandbox has done and take the game in a path which destroys itself!

I am not one to normaly write reviews, however this game impressed my so much that I feel obligated to give the creators the credit they deserve.

I am a big fan off the survival Genre and have tried to ebb my way through alot of the recent early releases however none have matched 7 days to die until ARK: Survival Evolved was released!

It is a must to any dinosaur / Survival / Game fan,

The only downside is the slight optimisation problems that CAN occur, however it is still more than playable and at every new turn I find myself loving this game even more!

Beautiful game even in its early stages, If the developers continue building this game the way they have started it promises to be a great game.
