Just play the damn game. It's very good and sexy and fun and other positive things.

I get some disappointment in the wide variety of quality experiences people are having across a wide variety of hardware, but my aging rig with GTX 960 and i5-9700k and 16gb ram are running the game nearly flawlessly. Give it some time to work out some of the kinks if you're convinced Fromsoft has bungled it that badly, but holy hell this army of nerds comparing this release to Cyberpunk of all things is insufferable.

Full stop- I've barely touched any other Fromsoft game, and this has been wildly enjoyable so far (minus a certain knight in a certain castle just after the first boss, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nerf that thing). The people crowing that only fanboys are giving positive or glowing reviews can get stuffed.

The Thing, but in space. With hats. No idea how it plays without voice comms, but with them it's an utter delight that deserves all the hype its gotten.
