I have bought and then joyfully played every game these guys have made. Until they abandon it. After making terrible decision after terrible decision. The idea of paying more money to them, with all this prior knowledge and experience, sucks.

But ... I was going to play for 2 hours and then refund it. But sadly. It's enjoyable, even at this ... not in game yet ... state.

The only real positive thing I can say at this stage, towards them not abandoning it ... its not an open world pvp orientated game ... which they clearly don't have a clue about how to make.

So value for money ... I still reckon its way more enjoyable than going to the movies ... and I intend to play the crap out of it today.

I wanted to not like this game ... sadly its too much fun.

Only critique atm with 2 hours of game play ... allow to skip past the end game screen where it gives you the points blah ...

Would be fun if there were actually servers in our area. OCE.

Would be fun if they actually reset servers so you could start again.

Would be fun if there was some sort of filter system of searching for servers.

There are loads of areas that would improve the fun of this game ... but like most games ... seems like its made by people that have little clue.

Its clunky but fun. Adult minecraft if you will :P

Definitely fun playing it with the boys.

It's a fun multiplayer game for sure.

For some reason they don't allow you to look at your character or inventory while you are waiting, or even queue up your possible next move to help speed up game play a bit more. But solid A game.

To be honest I hate being made to watch cut scenes ... I hate it ... I ... kinda ... didn't ... hate it. Dammit!

But seriously can you please hire actors to do the voices ... some of the voice acting is just terrible ... like ... so cringe.

Actual stuff: The game is easy mode and fun. Its a single player game that will have you enjoy your first play through. Then who cares you have your monies worth ... but there is more to do end game ... and thus far its been a blast.

Ok where does one start?

It seems like they have put very little thought in to this game.

Day 1 cheaters in a ranked F2P game ... thankfully you have shields so they can still be killed but terribly thought out. But not reporting system. No in game banning system. No avoid system. Had one guy called Yuki who was obviously cheating like a tard and he just ruined every game he came in to.

You have frequent disconnects with no way of rejoining ... thats right no way of rejoining ranked games or friends games or anything. You just have to wait, accept the loss and play and crash again.

There is 0 point to playing it atm. There is nothing if you win. The only thing you get is the fun of grinding stupid quests for your only xp.

The guns in the game aren't balanced. When you can shoot someone with a powerful gun 3 times and he can just walk through it punch you from 15 metres away and then shoot you once ... games not working as intended.

Vehicle balance is stupid. You can end up having 3 flyers on 1 side, which basically means they nuke you from distance and there is ♥♥♥♥ all you can do about it.

They haven't built in clans ... so clan fights are off the cards at this stage, in any meaningful way.

Melee is a 1 shot kill from behind, regardless if you are full shield ... which is stupid.

The sound is shot. You can't hear people behind you at all. One would think you would have great hearing in this combat suit ... but someone can literally be running behind you for 30 seconds and the moment you stop they 1 hit you. Vehicles can drive up behind you and run you over and you can't hear them.

On death you don't go to see where the person killed you from ... instead you just get to be T-bagged for about a second before you can switch away ... but without you don't know who killed you or where from, since you can't see name tags or anything on the person.

With 120 degrees you still have a blind spot and people can run around your FOV ... 120 degrees ... practically a fish.

If this game doesn't force you to bind your account to an active windows cd key ... then its not going to last in any way shape or form.

I don't know how gaming companies can do all these basics mistakes these days. Its like none of them have played a game before and this is their first experience with online fps games. Its 2021 people get with the programme and hire decent people that actually know the basics of online game play.

All in all its more ♥♥♥♥ than good atm.

It could improve and they could add this stuff in ... but releasing games like this is not doing the Halo brand any favours.

Then they released a patch to fix some issues ... now it disconnects every single time you die.

Usual launch issues. But an open world survival MMO with actual skill based combat. Sure it's not as indepth as what it could be but a good player can take out larger groups ... though zergs and the uncapped limit on zergs is going to be a potential issue ... but the oasis system is pretty good thus far. Will update. But usual but hurt people can't get on as it's being flooded and they are finding new bugs. But I managed to get to level 28 on day I ... so its not the end of the world.

Season 2 shows just how much work they have done. It''s a solid game with lots of fun and each battle is different. Their counters to Zerging makes it easier for the small group or solo players. People should try it! :P
