A bit horror, a touch of comedy.. Loads of fun with just the base game, and then there are so many fun mods to take it to the next level. I would have paid more.

I could have paid twice as much for this game and I'd still feel like I got my money's worth. There is so much great mod support for this game, and the developer is still adding new things.

I love this game. It balances peaceful calm fishing with scares so well. The game is also gorgeous. There's a good deal of content if you aim for completionist. I just wish there was more.

It's still in early access, but it's a lot of fun. A different spin on the farming/harvesting game. You're running an inn instead.

This game has vastly improved in graphics and it includes multiplayer now that it's out of early access. A great game if you want to do some relaxed simulator building with friends.

Probably the best VR game I've played. Modable, get your exercise in and rock out to some great music.

Super fun. Klei has always been very good at coming up with unique gameplay and a great art style. I've put in well over 500 hours in to this game (many of which were early access), and it's still a blast. Some of the changes as the game has progressed has made the game more challenging and made it more interesting. Every map is a different challenge.

The devloper for this game is very active and the discord for this game is very helpful. It's a fun simulator game. It's kind of like if you mixed banished (without the population death) with factorio.

So much fun it either play the levels or just dink around in sandbox mode.

So I grew up with the NES port. This is a VSCUMM port and it doesn't seem to have the indiviual character soundtracks that I remember. You will need to hit F5 to save, quit, load, or adjust the game options.

If you normally run with a high mouse dpi, you're really going to want to turn it down to play this game. Controls feel a little clunky to me, but I grew up playing this with an NES controller and I may not have turned my dpi down enough. I could be misrembering some of the puzzles, but there does seem to be some slight differences in the gameplay than the NES version I grew up with

Also, 100% verified, it is possible to have Syd put the hamster in the microwave and turn it on with this version. (I would never condone doing such a thing in reality). I suppose I am one of the lucky? few? that was able to do this with in my NES version back in the day, enough though the NES version censored quite a few other things....

Anyway, 8 year old me is thrilled to see this game again.
