Early Access Review
I'm this game's #1 hater. Its streamer shovel-ware. Once twitch partners stop playing this game, it'll fizzle out- super repetitive gameplay, really liberal usage of the term "procedurally generated" because all it really does is open certain doors on certain playthroughs, but those sealed off rooms are just accessible from a different door. Please note that all the clips or "reels" you see of this game shows someone screaming because they were chased into a room with stairs or they fall off a catwalk. Its the same ♥♥♥♥ over and over again each time. I was able to squeeze all the fun out of this game in enough time to refund it.

Very good. Kind of like an escape room simulator except with gore.

I rarely review games and only do so when I really REALLY enjoy the title.

I've known about Max Payne for years, I've watched my brother play it over 8 years ago and actually picked it up before. I didn't play much of it because I remember having some difficulties.

Fast forward to 2 days ago- See Max Payne on sale for like 3 bucks. That's a deal for any game, I'll give it a shot.

I got news for you, this game is incredible. It's one long action movie that is intricate and leaves you like a junkie looking for more Valkyr. Have you seen Max Payne the movie?? Yes? No? Either way, forget that movie- Play the game and you will NOT regret it.

As Max Payne, you get put into a tragic situation that only your guns can solve. You work your way up, and just when you think you've reached the top- You realize you've only scratched the surface.

Like I said before, there's the incredible story followed by great controls that make sense. Slow-Mo feature that works like bread and butter. The game IS challenging, if you're thinking slow mo makes stuff easy- you're wrong. Great length- Not long enough where you just want to get it done, not short enough where you feel like you've been gypped out of your cash.

The graphics are dated- The game was released almost 14 years ago on the MAX-FX engine. It's what you would expect from a game released in 2001. The faces on these characters are also priceless- taking and giving damage yields grimacing results that has it's own charm.

To sum up- The game's great- About 75% of the way through the game, I turned it off- Went to the steam store and bought Max Payne 2 and 3. I couldn't get enough. If you're a fan of the noir genre, this is for you. If you're a fan of action, this is for you, if you play fps and think that third person shooters wouldnt suit you, you're wrong- this game is for you. If you want to feel nostalgic and get a warm christmassy NYC vibe- THIS GAME IS FOR YOU.

9.5/10 Loses half a point for the lack of diverse weaponry- I feel like I only got stuff that got the job done, but on the other hand- I am just a NYC copper. You get pretty much whatever a cop would get. (With the exception of an M79)

Max Payne 2 is done downloading- I wont waste any more time writing this up!

What's manhunt?

*Spoilers*
You're a dude who got a lethal injection. Or so everyone thought. You wake up being filmed by some guy who makes snuff films and gives you a "Second Chance". You have to make your way through a crazy/gang infested city and you have to make your way through to the end or something, I've never gotten that far."
*Spoiler ended*

I've played this game before on non-steam, and it's pretty creepy if your in the right atmosphere. The brutal violence is why manhunt 2 isn't available on steam, or anywhere I think.

This game is sort of like splinter cell and Hotline Miami rolled into one. Actually, now that I think of it, it's almost exactly like hotline miami.

The movement is great, if you've played GTA Vice City, it's the same deal. The game is essentially being "filimed" as you go through, so there is a fuzzy filter which you can disable. -- THE EXECUTIONS ARE UN-CENSORED -- which means you'll be able to see Cash dig a crowbar into buddy's head. It's great.

There is a sort of puzzle aspect to the game, you need to figure out which one of the goons you need to kill first, how to maneuver around them ie staying in the shadows and how to lure them. It's pretty easy to lure and hide from the guys, but it's still worth it.

I paid like 3 bucks for this title and I don't think I'll ever regret it.

TL:DR - Great game, highly atmospheric. Kind of easy once you know what to do but still worth the price of 2.99. I'd have no problem paying like 5 bucks for it. Any more would be a bit much though considering it's dated. Very similar to Splinter Cell and Hotline Miami put together. Buy it, it's good. Just don't hammer the ♥♥♥♥ out of your parents after playing it or we'll lose manhunt 1 the same way we lost manhunt 2.

With ~6hrs gametime on Steam and around 100 more non-steam, I think that I am a good candidate to write a review.

The infamous PC title Postal 2 brings you into the mind of a psychotic Paradise, AZ citizen named "The Dude" (Let's be honest, he's only as psychotic as you let him be) Your task is to complete each of the things on your "To Do List" from Monday to Friday and the (Apocalypse) Weekend. Duties range from getting milk from the local "Lucky Ganesh" to getting Gary Coleman to autograph your book, each task doesn't end the way you would normally want it to. As you progress through the days of the week, certain parts of the map are unlocked (After being under construction) and throughout you find a new arsenaul of weapons that include Pistols, Tazers, M4's and Disease ridden, cow heads which after you throw or place will release a deadly cloud of orange that makes people puke blood. There are a ton of other weapons that you can pick up some of which may surprise you (Don't forget to right click to alt fire some of the weapons, they do different things)

You can set people and animals on fire and put them out by pissing on them which can cause them to puke. Citizens also puke on themselves if you taze them for too long. Or if they see you shoot somebody's head/limbs off. There's a lot of puking.

There are a lot of offensive themes within this game, I hope people can leave their beliefs outside their room when playing because although this game is lewd and offensive, it's an incredible title that will leave you wanting more (I know that sounds cliche as hell, but it's true)

The movement mechanics are great, weapons are fun to use (No recoil, but this isn't supposed to be a hardcore simulation competitive game)

One of my favorite things about this game is that although it's a linear (although open) map, people who like to explore will be rewarded. To quickly give an example: Across the Lucky Ganesh where you buy Milk, there's a foreclosed home, you can kick the door open and walk inside, onto the roof and walk along the telephone lines. Towards the end, you can jump on Lucky Ganesh's roof and behind it you will find a bunch of cats (Which you can put on your gun and use as silencers by the way) Catnip to attract cats (And smoke which gives a slowmow effect!) along with "Health Pipes" that boost your HP but cause painful sideffects afterwards.

The only thing I would like to see fixed is the loading zones, It's an old game, but for the 2013 update, I think RWS should consider making it one massive map, or at least cutting out some of the bridge loading zones, because computers now can handle them

My rating is a solid 10/10 the pros TOTALLY outweigh the cons and I highly, HIGHLY reccomend this game for casual gamers and those looking for a challenge.
