From what I've played so far, its good. Really good. Weapons and sound design, animations, setting and level design, character dialogue: its all pure Madness. Its everything I expected and wanted it to be.

Finally a good Warhammer 40,000 game! It's been at least 2 years since we got Battlefleet Gothic Armada and the only other good one I can think of is Santus Reach. This is a breath of fresh air to the 40k gaming scene. I love everything about this game! From the characters to the dialoge, to the gameplay and overall aesthetic, Mechanicus gives you everything you could want and more in experiencing and learning what it is to be a worshiper of the Omnissiah. Character customization has to be my favorite thing of all, allowing you to specialize your techpriests to what role they play in your cohort based on your playstyle. Currently running with a energy gun platform, a troop commander, a medic (mechanic), and a requisitioner (cognition point generator). I can already tell I may end up going back and playing this all over again once I beat it the first time. Until then, if you like XCOM, this is definitiely a must have for any 40k player.
