They started up fine, and then they decided to pull the rug under their users with the PSN thing. We never got asked during the beginning to make it. And if this was required for crossplay, i would not fully accept it but i'd understand it and ignore it (PS5 players aren't needed here).

But alas. They decided that it was best to harvest even more data from users, rather than improve the game, it's multitude of issues, and perhaps move out from singray to either a bespoke engine, or a common engine.

Fantastic game! The story is intricate and has it's twists and turns, but that's secondary to the massive amounts of ass kicking you'll give and receive all over the planet.

I need to go back to this and finish it properly. Just don't try to do all the secondary missions all at once.

I yearn for a neutral review button. This is a game that is much improved in some ways over it's predecesor, but on the other hand seems to be molded exclusively by the half dozen people in the discord server who did time trials ad infinitum. It's a fairly OK game and the design is gorgeous. But by god the cognitive load is higher here than on the previous one, and with no arcade control scheme to simplify the input, it is a nightmare to play on any controller.

With that said, it's not a bad game. If you can stomach an overly complex racer with convoluted controls and so many things on screen at once that will make your brain melt, and you don't mind it has been designed around specifically two people in the discord server. Then yeah. You can do the thing.

As for me, there are no bunnies on this game, unlike it's predecessor so it's inmediatly disqualified.

Franikku's love for Sonic shows in this soundtrack, as it either samples, interpolates verses, or outright covers whole songs.

All in all it's a banger. Would recommend.

Donkey Kong Country, but Bun.

Honestly that's all i needed to get the game.

Beyond that, the game itself is good, tho perhaps a bit short. Still, enjoyable.

Honestly, it's the easiest way to get a lot of sega's classic videogames from the Genesis era in a convinient package, Ideal for emulation and romhacking. This is an absolute must if you plan on using something like Sonic 3 AIR or Sonic 2's Community's cut.

Take Mega Man, give it a Castlevania or Metroid - like upgrade system, and Metal Slug type bosses, then turn the character into a fuzzy bunny. And you have this game.

As the other reviews say, this is NOT a metroidvania, but you do have discrete levels that can be explored and revisited once you get new abilities, not unlike the later Classic Mega Man games or the earlier Mega Man X entries.

The game has charming writing, and it's really nice, both from the illustration and music standpoints.

The gameplay is a little bit janky, but it's not the worst i've seen.

This game deserves a sequel or a remake. It's a bit awkward to play, but do give it a try if possible.

This is the type of game you play to laugh at the jank, your character going off the ground, and casually play while chatting about random things such as the history of the Iberian Sausage, or how Sophos Safeguard may conflict with Adobe Acrobat's Asynchronous I/O routines needing a registry hack to disable that, or how the Energía / Buran stack would have mopped the floor with the American Space Shuttle, and Energía alone was powerful enough to send materials and crew back to the moon by the early 90's. Since nobody plays anything over than Siege Mode, really, this is a game you play to pass the time while chatting about random stuff.

3/10, would re-tell the history of the Buran Programme again.

A game that is full of jank, but that is oddly fitting for this post 2016 world we live in. It can be tedious and a tad boring. There is fun to be had but it's very hit and miss. All in all it feels, pretty much like what it is, a early 2000's low budget game.

Honestly, get it on sale and laugh at it's ridiculous plot, but don't expect anything ground breaking mechanically wise.

It's basically a lovely tribute to Top Gear / Lotus Challenge in HD and with a banger soundtrack. Mechanics are pretty similar to those games too. Get first place while needing to collect a bunch of fuel each track so you don't run out on the middle of the track.

A complaint i have is that the AI is a complete crapshoot and depending on how it's seeded it may ruin your game. In the end the winning strategy is to restart the game until you get a seed that doesn't screw you over.

The weekly challenge mode is also pretty nice, And overall trying to get all medals in each track is a very satisfying challenge. The controls are pretty easy enough and this is a game best played with the keyboard.

The real complaint i have is that the ground and roads can be almost illegible at times and at high speeds the flickering can get nauseating. It's weird that a 2D game could get disorienting but it does. People with some sensory issues beware. However it's all so minor it shouldn't be a problem for most people, but it may be extra frustrating for some.

Overall, it's a good time.
