I got this game when it was 100% off. 5 hours of interesting puzzle manipulation. Each puzzle has different mechanics and the clues to solving these alien devices are right at hand. I miss this type of puzzle play and this seems to compare favorably with my quarter century old memories of Myst and 7th Guest. I look forward to the next chapter but I really hope Machinka: Atlas will have a lot more puzzles.

Could be a good game but the need for a constant internet connection to their servers is some ridiculous nonsense. And its not my internet connection, its their servers. Why should I need to connect to their servers to play this game on my own computer with no online component? Every time their servers take a dump I can't play a game I spent good money on. Avoid this until you see comments that its changed. Shame.

Edit: After v.2 there is now a offline Single Player mode and I can recommend this to others. I like the realm system and the lore is pretty cool here. There's plenty of time for this game to mature and the developer truly seems to be focused. At the moment, other than the realm system, there isn't a lot new here for the genre but it will be interesting to see it develop.

So there I was cruising through the Dark Bramble trying to find REDACTED like I had twice before when I hear what sounds like something very large moving very close. I'm almost to the next bramble when teeth close around my ship. #1580 of WTF moments.

Just a wild ride so far. Good mechanics, a great graphical style and the storytelling is top notch. Such a mystery to unravel and what a great framing device to drive the player forward through the story. This is well worth picking up if you like WTF moments.

What an absolutely lovely little adventure. No combat, just exploration of a lovely land. The whole thing felt kind of like Myst in the presentation of quests. The voice acting and arranging could have been worked on a bit more and there have been times I've fallen through the landscape (lucky to have a mountainwort tea handy for rescue) or had other game crashing episodes. All in all this is worth picking up on sale and is well worth a look.

A point and click adventure game in a style I haven't seen for a while. Great story, well acted and animated. It's been on my "some day" list forever and I finally bought it on sale. Well worth it. If you enjoyed games like Monkey Island, Gabriel Knight, Goblins, you will probably enjoy this one as much as I did. Go for it.

Sadly I had to refund this game. Ubisoft changed the requirements making 3.0 ghz and AVX instruction sets mandatory. Won't affect most people with newer computers and processors, but older ones that otherwise meet the requirements won't have AVX. Very annoyed at Ubisoft. The requirements changed AFTER I prepurchased.

I only can't recommend the game because I can't play it. I'm sure it is of high quality and a fantastic story, just as all the others have been.

Note: I appreciate the developer feedback and wish them luck on removing whatever is requiring AVX. If that drops the requirements back to where I purchased the game and can play without upgrading, I will reevaluate. I want to like it. I am predispoosed to like it. Give me the chance to do so.

Update: New computer. Repurchased and have been exploring Greece for days. Worthy addition.

How did this slip through early access? Crashes constantly. UI issues that make it seem like it's soemthing I would have played maybe 20 years ago. It's a step above casual tapping games, but it falls short of modern RTS.

I applaud the effort, but yeah you need to polish this a bit more.

This game has incredible replay value. I keep going back to it between new releases. The DLC included with the YOSE extends the base game well. Yes, it has bugs that have never been stomped, but it is ultimately playable and well worth your time if surivival RPG base building is your thing. The sequel is out this week and by all early reports it continues in the fine tradition of this game (including bugs) and I can't wait to play it.

Scratches all the right places. There are some quirks and bugs, but the developer seems on top of it and this is a seriously fun and addictive game.

I wish it had better inventory controls, but this is a fun zombie survival game in the great gaming tradition of XCOM and Syndicate.
